How can we be at "war" and not be occupiers? Oh wait we're not ata war. Cept we are at war. Or at least we call it war when it suits us.

Regardless, Colin Powell is a press corps untouchable. Nobod is allowed to say anything bad about him despite the fact he's a liar. Nope, we're only allowed to respect the brilliant, thoughtful, circumspect Powell.

Powell has a cabinet level post, and considering that Dubya is a moron, I believe that Powell has a sizable voice in determining U.S. policy. I don't buy the 'just an employee doing his job' bit.

Man, I really kind of respected Powell too. What a shame.
