A sincere question: why is this site in English? It's a Norwegian site, right? Don't they have other languages to choose among? Heck, maybe even Swedish or Danish.

A less sincere question would be whether there are any problems in Norway they might rather discuss.

And an even less sincere question: does Ron Paul have some special appeal in Europe? The only thing I've heard him say that has any appeal is to get out of Iraq, but that's not enough to balance his shortcomings. Isn't the man one of those infernal ... Texans???

Paul's policy of total US withdrawal not just from Iraq but from the world in general has a certain appeal to the hard core US Hating Euros.
I am not sure he has that much appeal in Europe outside that fringe, though.

I've seen this crap before, seems like they believe any CT there is...

My favorite must be their "Energy" page (http://www.northernresistance.info/energy.html), which contains the standard Tesla quotes, the water driven car (they claim the inventor, Stan Meyer, was poisoned, while the coroner says cerebral aneurysm).

If you are interested in building your own free energy devices, there is a lot of information available today.
By using DC++ you can gain access to our library (30+Gb on free energy).
Send us an email if you wish to connect!

I guess these people don't have to pay electrical bills then?

ETA: I wonder if any of these fools have studied the laws of physics?

Translating is hard work. Cut and paste requires no brain activity.

I was just wondering who their audience was. Assuming that it is Europeans, or even specifically Norwegians, I guess this is a reflection of the progress of the NWO in imposing US-variety English as the world language. If I felt as strongly as they same to, I think I'd be demanding all-Norwegian-all-the-time, Anglophones go home, etc.

Says the guy whose daughter is studying Chinese...

More like he just "left" his brain somewhere and can't find it again. One a more serious note, mr. Atle Abrahamsen, who is the guy behind the "northernresistance" is a constantly bombarding norwegian papers and websites with warnings about the NWO and various doomsday claims. As very oftens happens to me, when you read pages like his, is the feeling that you are beeing hoaxed. Because no real person can hold and put forth so many mutually icompatible claims and theories. Or can they?

Unfortunately, quite a few of the norwegian leftist have fallen prey to the various conspiracy theories regarding 9/11. And as usual they don't bother to do any research. When you just know that the USA and Bush are evil, you don't need to As the comments on the norwegian sceptics page (www.skepsis.no (http://www.skepsis.no)) shows every time 9/11 is mentioned.

So that anyone can read it, not just the Norskis? He's probably trying to reach a larger audience that just a bit over 4 million Norwegians, and writing in English let's him do that.

Besides, Norwegian, Swedish and Danish are so similar that writing in one language makes you understood in the two others as well.

A less sincere question would be whether there are any problems in Norway they might rather discuss.

Not really.

And an even less sincere question: does Ron Paul have some special appeal in Europe? The only thing I've heard him say that has any appeal is to get out of Iraq, but that's not enough to balance his shortcomings. Isn't the man one of those infernal ... Texans???

Ron Paul seems to attract fruitcakes of all nationalities, not just Americans.

Heh, I love it that their "art" page (http://www.northernresistance.info/art.html) only contains videos from youtube and google video. What happened to painting and poems?

Sometimes I miss the internet before all this streaming video stuff...

Oh, btw, happy birthday Ryokan :)

Sometimes I miss the badly typed, single-spaced, narrow-margin ditto-machine copied pamphlets the nutballs used to distribute before the net became all the rage. 15 years ago, I used to get them hand-delivered to my apartment building (which just happened to be located about 50 yards from the city hospital psych ward).

They weren't any less crazy, but at least they were all original material. No cut&paste in the Remington, you know.

Ugh, he had TWO tables at the gun show I went to this morning, and volunteers everywhere with pamphlets. I told one I was all ready to vote for Paul until Ric Falir endorsed Huckabee and will always cherish his facial expression. :D

Oh and happy birthday!!!
