This article mentions the guard who shot the shooter:

“She said ‘I was praying and asking the Holy Spirit the entire time to guide me.”

Now we know what the Holy Spirit does - He's God's weapon scope!

Now the AP is running a story that the shooter killed himself, although he was hit by one or more shots fired by the guard.

Is unarmed worshipping legal in America?

It won't be for long now.

What a couple of arrogant creeps. The "Holy Ghost" didn't do jack for the people who died, or even for them. The whole thing is ridiculous, and pretty disgusting of them to twist it that way.

I think it's safe to assume that, by saving the guard from a bullet, God has indicated that the next person to be fatally shot was less worthy of life. That must be a great comfort to his/her family.

Well, there goes the whole free will argument. If god is willing to intervene and limit the free will of the shooter in this case, why didn't he do something to prevent the evil ramifications of the evil actions of so many other people throughout history?

Of course, obviously those making these sorts of claims don't think enough about theology to worry about the free will argument, but it's just ridiculous.

I like that she asked God to guide her hand.

Presumably up to that point God had been tossing up whether to help her or the shooter.

If he was willing to intervene at that point maybe she could suggest that next time he stops the shooter from leaving home.

Oh, you know God-- he likes to call a few "angels" home now and again to start their "happily ever after" early. Of course it's hard when you are invisible and immeasurable... so he has his earthly minions do the job. I remember he goaded the Jews into killing some Jesus guy a couple thousand years ago. And mayday was just telling us about god killing someone as proof of a miracle.

Apparently True believers need to spend less time in church and more time at the range.

Except for the crazed believers--the gunman made a few of his marks.

Ah, but per the article his parents were Christians, yet his faith, or lack thereof was not stated, was it?

He was a former member of the mission place, and possibly even of the New Life church.

Ah, if only everyone let god or allah guide their bullets, there'd be a lot less people being shot!
