Then I'm sorry I missed you on my original thread a month or two ago, when the payment was actually $0. :)

...Of course, there's no reason for you to accept the money. I'll still take the aforementioned "definite article for free", or even donate the money to your favorite charity. I just thought that cold hard cash (no matter how little) would provide more incentive than none at all.

Just wanted to bump this one last time for everyone else, as I assume Jeff didn't subscribe to this thread: Anyone, let me know what you would consider a non-insulting payment. If you give me a reasonable number, I might actually pay it!

(I have a limited amount of cash I've saved up to do this, and was hoping to get more bangs for my bucks. So I can certainly be talked up to a higher price, though payment/post frequency would decrease.)

Really, truly the last bump on this thread, unless someone asks me a question: I've temporarily bumped the payment for an article up to $20. This pricing will remain in effect until I can't afford to pay any more (will most likely be less than 10 articles accepted for that pricing). If the price is still insulting, my apologies, but I can't afford more at this point.
