Not all religious people are utterly stupid, but Jack Chick always takes the cake.
Is Chick really so stupid to think that this thing will convince even one Muslim?
Seriously, Christian missionaries in certain Muslim countries courageously risk death by smuggling Bibles and the like.
Does Chick really think that such people would bother with crap like this?
For those unfamiliar with Jack Chick, he's been around for at least thirty years. His big things are Catholic bashing (heavy conspiracy theory variety) and the dangers of witchcraft (really), as well general evangelism to the semiliterate.
But as you can see, he takes on the other important issues of the day as well.

Scenes we'd like to see:
Jack Chick before Allah. Roughly same dialogue, with a few names changed....

When one of my neighbors found out I practiced Buddhist philosophy, I started getting this one in my mailbox about every other day:
Chick bashes yet ANOTHER religion. (http://www.chick.com/reading/tracts/0016/0016_01.asp)
The upside to it is: I never am at a loss for paper to start a fire.

You know, it's illegal to put things in people's mailboxes. Door mats, door frames, car windows, etc. are all fine. Mailbox: Federal crime. If you could catch that on tape....
That said, I like the idea of "courageous" Christian missionaries "risking death" to bring Chick Pamphlets into Islamic nations where it can be a capital offense to do so.
Downright Darwinian, that.
Of course THESE pamphlets probably aren't for carrying into Islamic nations. For one thing, they're in English.
They're for harrassing fellow American citizens with. Like sneaking out and stuffing them into people's mailboxes.

I would never destroy a Chick tract. Indeed I have been collecting them since the 1970s. Never bought one, of course.
Some of them are out of print and not featured on the website. In most cases probably just lack of interest. I say this because they aren't any worse than the current ones, though there's one "Kings of the East" (anti-Chinese) that may have been removed because of complaints.
The ones about Jews aren't anti-Semitic as such, but very offensive to Jews on a religious level as well as being offensive to intelligent people in general (including those beguiled by religion). As they all are, of course.
The anti-evolution one Big Daddy? (http://www.chick.com/reading/tracts/0055/0055_01.asp) is especially amusing for it's physics howler, never mind the silly arguments about evolution.
I especially like the pince-nez glasses and nasty little beard on the evolutionist professor.
Look at what the professor is doing with his left hand in the first panel. Is that "peace", "V for victory", "f*** you", "horns", or "bunny rabbit"?
You decide.

If I had to choose between a country that let nuts like Chick spread his crap around and a country that beheaded people for being of a different mind, I think I would choose Chick every time.
Call me irresponsible but that's the way I am.

In the USA certainly, dunno about other countries. Of course in cities and most suburbs, mailboxes are locked and only the householder and letter-carrier has the key. Breaking into a mailbox for whatever reason is a serious offense carrying twenty years of hard time if convicted.
In a rural area with an open mailbox there has to be a specific complaint against an individual. There is no general surveillance. If your next door neighbor places an invitation to a weekend barbecue in your box without postage, what then?
Probably nothing.

Yeah, what my neighbor does is a crime. I've never caught him, and frankly, I don't much care other than the irritations of opening the mailbox every other day.
"Oh, look honey, the neighbors are so concerned over our well-being, they have given us anothe 'Bazooka-Jesus' strip. I wonder if this is the same loving neighbor who miraculously has an identical lawn-mower to the one that was stolen from us last week."
Yes, that is also a true story. I filed a police report, the cops have done very little, but the lawn-mower is insured, so I'm not really upset about it being stolen, just that I'm pretty sure about who did it and the cops can't really do anything, cause what I have is circumstantial.
*sigh*
You gotta love living in the Bile-belt.

I absolutely agree. The point is to ask how anybody is stupid enough to think that this particular tract could possibly convert anybody.
Does Chick really think it could, or is he just selling tracts to morons? On some level I'm sure he's a believer, but c'mon!
I'd never censor Jack Chick.
1) I'm against any censorship, even of vile things.
2) He's too funny to get rid of.

Jack Chick is regular fodder for the R&P forum as well as Community sometimes, and he's so outrageous and so (unintentionally) funny, that he's worth discussing in every one.
Somewhere on here (or I could google) there's a link to a page by page critque of Big Daddy showing it was woefully ill advised collaboration between Chick and Kent Hovind.
I'm not sure is this link to the Jack Chick Parody Archive (www.weirdcrap.com/chick/) is still working but if it is you'll die laughing at the "This Was Your Life" parody.

I dropped him/the site an e-mail.
I feel such great sadness for the hate that consumes you.
Please allow me to help you see your Bible in a less self centered way.
Here http://www.chick.com/tractimages41237/1004/1004_10.gif you write “ I am the lord Jesus Christ to whom is given all judgment”
Please allow me to help you with a bit of Bible study.
Consider:
John 12:47 (English-NIV) "As for the person who hears my words but does not keep them, I do not judge him. For I did not come to judge the world, but to save it.
Or
John 8:15 (English-NIV) You judge by human standards; I pass judgment on no one.
I am sure you will point to.
John 5:22 (English-NIV) Moreover, the Father judges no one, but has entrusted all judgment to the Son,
John 5:27 (English-NIV) And he has given him authority to judge because he is the Son of Man.
And
2 Corinthians 5:10 (English-NIV) For we must all appear before the judgment seat of Christ, that each one may receive what is due him for the things done while in the body, whether good or bad.
But this would only demonstrate the contradictions of the Bible and not support your position.
May I also offer this:
If
“1 John 4:8] ...God is love.”
And
“[1 Cor 13:5] Love...keeps no record of wrongs.”
And
“..Love is patient and kind; love is not jealous or boastful;...it is not arrogant or rude. Love does not insist on its own way; it is not irritable or resentful;...it does not rejoice at wrong, but rejoices in the right...Love bears all things, believes all things, hopes all things, endures all things...LOVE NEVER FAILS; as for prophecies, they will pass away; as for tongues, they will cease; as for knowledge, it will pass away...[1Cor 13:4-8]”
and
“[1John 4:18.8] There is no fear in love, but perfect love casts out fear. For fear has to do with punishment, and he who fears is not perfected in love.”””
Then
1) it is clear”he” keeps no record of wrongs and does not judge.
2) “he” is not a “jealous” God.
3) “he” has no ego and can not demand to or wish to be worshiped or placed before any other
4) “he” does NOT “insist on his own way”
5) Does not want to be feared in any way.
And
6) does not punish.
Seems clear and to not believe what I have said means you do not believe the Bible which you see as the word of God.
My friend let me leave you with these
Matt. 5:22 Whosoever shall say Thou fool, shall be in danger of hellfire.
And
If Anyone among you thinks he is religious, and does not bridle his sharp tongue but deceives his own heart, this ones religion is useless~ JAMES 1:26)
Perhaps it is time to pull the beam from your own eye.
Be well and learn the joy of unconditional love.

Being a gamer from way back I have seen that one more times than I can count.
I've played for 20 years, and no one has tried to induct ME into a cove that teaches me how to cast real spells. I've been ripped off, I think. I really want to learn how to dominate minds too.....

funny because it's true! at least in my case I've heard that exact soundtrack (of the actuall gaming, at least) on another short that used 3D models from Summoners! I have to see if I can find that.
And yes, it's funny 'cause it's true.
edited to add:
Found it, it's called Summoner Geeks (http://www.ifilm.com/filmdetail?ifilmid=220487)

The Right Reverend Chick has made it very clear what will happen to devout Muslims who hear and reject the Gospel. Does he have a stance on what will happen to devout Muslims who never hear the Word of God™ ?

Anti-chinese sentiment in the US is one of my casual intrests, this could prove intresting.

I dont know why I keep reading those Chick cartoons, that filth never fails to sicken me.
The only way to salvation is through faith in God. I am also "God's Child". Funny, sky daddy created me, but he made me so I would be unable to believe in him, that means I go to Hell. What a great guy, he deliberately created me so he could send me to Hell...

Quite an unusual ending to that cartoon... The Christian managed to scare a devout Muslim out of his faith and into another...

I think I have a copy somewhere, though when I looked for it just now I couldn't find it.
As I recall (it's been years since I read it) the "Kings of the East" will try to take over the world according to Bible prophesy. The Chinese, who else?
It being Chick, the Vatican is really behind it, as they are behind Communism in general, Nazism, rock music, etc.
