Good idea, Ron Paul as a topic is dominating the current subforum, as he is spawning so much controversy the topic should be isolated so those interested can find the threads more easily and those who are sick of it can avoid them more easily.

I think the politics subforum is too much about mundane hot button political topics as it is. The Ron Paul phenomenom _should_ be discussed since I think there are some critical thinking topics at hand both in some of his more out of mainstream campaign topics and in some the criticism of the Paul campaign. Unfortunately, we get so many threads from Ron Paul supporters endorsing their candidate that the signal-to-noise ratio is bad.

To cross the gap in this sar-chasm, let me say that I am disappointed in the outright Paul campaigning going on. The forum has degenerated into a typical politics forum in this regard. Maybe we should form a Ron Paul fan-club subforum for Ron Paul promotion threads? :D
