wow. these people have such class ! first they commit suicide to "send a message" and now they've elevated themselves to throwing diareah. It doesn't matter where in the world you are, the same disgusting vermin, the dregs of humanity, can be found protesting for the left.
swell.
I think Im going to convert to their side of the issue.

Yeah, real class act. All it does is exactly what you've said: convince their opponents that they're simply lunatics.
I confess I thought the nude protests at the beach were better stage-managed.

Let me put it this way:
That there are people on the right who clearly do not think or write well, this does not mean that I think all people on the right are not very bright. Also, I do not expect people on the right to justify the stupid acts of those loudmouths that spew nonsense.

that is one of the most disgusting pictures i've ever seen.
ok, THE most disgusting.
i hope, after the cops probably beat the hell out of him, he sits in jail for a long, long time. (hopefully they caught the person)

Well put and not unlike what a rational conservative might say about some JREF posters ;)

In a lot of U.S. jurisdictions penalties can be quite severe for this sort of thing. I know recently there was a case where a guy got a serious sentence, I think life, for spitting on a police officer. There have been a lot of laws passed in this regard due to AIDS fears and bioweapon concerns.

They don't have guns; this is the worst thing they can think of to do. If they were on the right they'd be shooting by now.

I understand that point perfectly well. I wasn't suggesting that everyone on the left thinks martyrdome and flinging poop is an effective way to spread good cheer and peace.
What I am saying is that in most cases of lunatic protest, whether it be violent, disease spreading, or irrational, it involves those who sympathize with the left. (Im saying this full aware of the moronic actions of abortion protesters/murderers)

And of course, that sure elevates the dialogue.
BTW, what kind of nasty, yellow, diseased fecal matter is in that bucket. Ugh.

Oook,
Thats is up there with the book burnings in Neuremberg.
Of course given the irony of all the rich people who go to Cancun, and all the poor people who live outside it, wouldn't you throw something?
I would asume that the protestor was mexican and that it was more of a commentary on Mexican politics. But then it could have been a very stupid anachist.
Harry Keogh,
This being Mexico, who ever did it will pay very highly.

Could you please provide evidence of this? Specifically, lots of close-ups of nude female protestors.

Let me first say that I'm no fan of the WTO and that I think protest and dissent are generally good things.
Now: those demonstrators, if that was in fact liquified stool, are the most irresponsible, least democratic protestors I've ever had the misfortune to see. While I wouldn't classify that (shudder) s**t as a biological weapon, it certainly would be filled with a number of pathogens: some annoying, and some potentially deadly. I'd rather they threw rocks.
If I were one of the policemen pictured, I would excuse myself from duty, and then proceed to beat the living hell of of the wielder of the bucket, his friends, and his family.
Rather a lot, I imagine.

Oooooh yeeaaaah... now I remember why I stopped being a radical leftist.
(I still think the WTO needs some serious reforms, though.)

The other news articles I read (like at smh.com) said the faeces were thrown in plastic bags. I think that's just water in the bucket... Actually, if I may induldge my paranoia for a moment, it looks photoshopped?

Link to the smh.com (don't you mean smh.com.au?) story, please? It may just be dirty water, and it looks pretty homogenous, so I understand your skepticism. As for it being Photoshopped, here's one where the protesters are soaking the police in Purplesaurus Rex. OH YEAH!
