All we have been hearing for a couple of years now is how minor the fires were, since alirliners crashing into buildings and igniting 6 floors simultaneously are minor, one might even say trivial, events evidently. They were "oxygen starved", not hot enough to break the windows, could be put out easily with a couple of hoses etc. But now we have Kevin "Waterboy" Ryan speculating that not only did the fire involve thousands of gallons of flaming jetfuel and all the contents of the building, but unknown amounts of thermite, purely for the purpose of making the fires even bigger!

In any case, the demolition hypothesis should be considered more than just simple demolition. If the idea was to create the appearance of a fire-induced collapse, then a fiery presentation was needed, much more than the jet fuel/office furnishings would have been able to provide. It seems that thermate may have been used not only to weaken or cut the steel infrastructure throughout the buildings, but also to help create that fiery presentation near the floors of impact.
Just how much freaking thermite did they use in this operation? I am surprised Lower Manhatten was not completely submerged in molten iron. I am offended by his use of the term hypothesis though, that would imply some sort of coherent and consistent idea of what actually happened.

So this hypothesis covers the lack of demolition sounds thus allowing Truthers as much breathing room to claim explosives were in the Towers.
And round and round we go.

Thermite is really, really bright when it burns.

Maybe the NWO used those advanced Thermite-fuel airliners we've been developing to free us of enslavement from the Islamic Fundamentalist in the Middle East.

Kevin Ryan has done something unbelievable. Offered a new "coincidence". It has been a long while, since we last saw anything new.
http://www.911blogger.com/node/13272
What is it this time? Apparently he thinks, that the people who upgraded the WTC fireproofing were the ones who installed thermite devices and plane directing devices! Why? Because we needed a fiery presentation! :faint:
There appears to be a remarkable correlation between the floors upgraded for fireproofing in the WTC towers, in the years preceding 9/11/01, and the floors of impact, fire and failure. The fireproofing upgrades would have allowed for shutdown of the affected floors, and the exposure of the floor assemblies and the columns for a significant period of time. Exactly what work was done during that time?
Could incendiary or explosive materials have been embedded within the upgraded fireproofing? Could these “construction” activities have involved installing mechanisms to direct the planes to the specific areas in which they hit each building?
In any case, the demolition hypothesis should be considered more than just simple demolition. If the idea was to create the appearance of a fire-induced collapse, then a fiery presentation was needed, much more than the jet fuel/office furnishings would have been able to provide. It seems that thermate may have been used not only to weaken or cut the steel infrastructure throughout the buildings, but also to help create that fiery presentation near the floors of impact.
It seems possible that a thermate-like material, and/or other devices contributing to the destruction of the towers, could have been incorporated on the floors of impact and failure during the fireproofing upgrades. The access for such an operation would have been facilitated by the activity surrounding the fireproofing upgrades.
Thanks for your new theory, Kevin. It makes no more sense than the previous ones. But at least you are trying.

I think Kevin is circling around APOLLO20-MAX-MIHOP.

MAX-MIHOP says that in order to engineer plausible-deniability, the NIST Reports will tell the truth about the WTC controlled demolitions, and will not omit any relevant information, or lie. (Note that NIST saying it "found no evidence of controlled demolition by explosives" does not contradict this.)
The NIST Reports contain everything there is to know about the controlled demolitions, but in an ambiguous form. The Report is painted with greys (read: low chroma or low information saturation), and then shuffled. (By the way, Paul's Magic Filter is designed to see through the ambiguity created.)
Okay, now with this in mind, consider the following...
Many here and at Physorg have expressed great doubt that catalysts could have been planted undetected.
So the question is: How were catalysts planted with no one knowing? That is a critical question.
Well, through Paul's Magic Filter, which says the NIST Reports won't omit anything critical about the controlled demolition, is appears that NIST must - somewhere - provide at least the partial explanation for how catalysts were placed undetected.
The upgrading of the fire protection material is one pretext under which catalysts might have been planted. (Note the Apollo20's AP model explicitly mentions this avenue.)
The reinforcing of the floors is another.
While we're here, can anyone think of other work done around impact floors mentioned in the NIST Reports?
How about beyond impact floors?

The stupid, it burns!
Ryan's own paper says that the fireproofing was upgraded in WTC2 on floors 77-78, 88-89, 92, 96-97; that the impact was on 77-85; that the fires were on 79-83; and that the failure initiated on 77-83. Therefore, he's shown an anticorrelation between the upgraded floors and the fires in WTC2, and a correlation between the impact floors and the region of collapse initiation. And he refers to this as "almost exactly" the point of impact and failure. Is this that well-known truther definition, where "almost exactly" equals "not"?
Put very simply: If the upgraded floors burned in one tower, and the non-upgraded floors burned in the other, that's pretty conclusive evidence that the upgrades had nothing to do with the fires. Is Ryan too stupid to realise this?

Exactly, Dave.
And also, Kevin manages to include a total of 11 upgraded floors in his WTC Tower chart. Of course, there were a total of 31 upgraded floors. 18 in WTC1 and 13 in WTC2. Why didn't you draw them in your contradictionary chart, Kevin?

I knew I shouldn't have looked in here, but, like Pandora, I couldn't resist.
Now I am going to have a headache to start the week.
Great.

Quick Cold War joke...
Vladimir is standing in a long queue in Red Square, hoping to possibly buy some meat.
He sees his friend Petre trudging through the snow, lugging two heavy suitcases, and calls him over.
"Vladimir, you are going to catch a death of a cold out here! How long have you been in line?"
"God forever...what time is it?"
Petre - with a sigh of relief - drops the massive suitcases, groans as he straightens his back, and looks at his watch.
"5:30"
"So I have been out here for 3 hours. No wonder I'm frozen. By the way Petre, that's a very nice watch."
"Yes...but the batteries are killing me."

I have to call Ryan a freaking idiot here. Sorry, but the towers would have looked like a roman candle. Does he know what thermite looks like when it goes off???
