View Full Version : Clinton to Paultard Twoofer: "You're Nuts!"

A little gem appeared today from the NBC News (http://firstread.msnbc.msn.com/archive/2008/01/07/556622.aspx)network by way of MSNBC. While campaigning for Hillary in Keene, NH, Bill Clinton was heckled by a Ron Paul supporter who shouted out about 9-11 being an inside job. Needless to say, Slick Willy let the Paultard twoofer have it with both barrels (verbally):
From NBC/NJ’s Mike Memoli
KEENE, NH -- Several Ron Paul supporters shadowed a much larger Clinton entourage as Bill Clinton greeted supporters downtown. The former president later called them "nuts."
"You wanna know what I think?” Clinton said. “You guys who think 9/11 was an inside job are crazy as hell. My wife was the senator from New York when that happened. I was down at Ground Zero. I saw the victims' families. You're nuts."
Ah, yes. A little truth to counter the twoof!:D

I can't wait to see if there is video of the exchange on the news later. That's at least the second time in just the last couple of months that Bill put a twoofer in their place! And quite forcefully at that!:p

Hasn't Ron Paul repeatedly told the Truthers that he doesn't believe their bunk?
Funny...for people so obsessed with him, they sure are doing everything in their power to ensure he doesn't win.

You're right but the Truthers think Ron Paul won't be elected if he tells "the truth" during the campaign. They are sure, that once elected President of the United States, he'll declare 9/11 an inside job.

Glenn Beck interviewed Ron Paul a couple of weeks back, during which Paul pretty plainly said he thought 9-11 woo is nonsense:
Here is the interview (http://www.liveleak.com/view?i=b8e_1198029301)
There was also a thread about this here (http://forums.randi.org/showthread.php?t=101612&highlight=glenn+beck).

When Ron loses again, in a spectacular fashion, will the Paultards:
A) be sad about losing
B) be angry that they couldn't get out the vote
C) rally together for the next campaign
D) scream, yell, blame "the joos" and claim its all a global conspiracy?

E) Make up a graph that shows overwhelming support from voters that were disenfranchised (too young to vote, illegal aliens, convicted criminals, reptoid aliens.....etc) that proves that Ron Paul should have won.

It's sad to see these twoofers trying to exploit a tragedy to fulfill their psychological disorders. I will never understand how these people can stoop so low. As if simply falsifying data and lying weren't bad enough.

"You wanna know what I think?” Clinton said. “You guys who think 9/11 was an inside job are crazy as hell. My wife was the senator from New York when that happened. I was down at Ground Zero. I saw the victims' families. You're nuts."
Apparently (judging by this thread) that was an effective answer. But just a tiny bit of critical thinking makes me wonder how the hell the answer refutes any nutter theories.
"9/11 was an inside job." - "Couldn't have been an inside job- my wife is a senator from New York."
"9/11 was an inside job." - "Impossible. I saw the victims families."
Huh? Suppose (hard to do, but give a try) that the nutters are right and it was an inside job. What would Clinton have seen at Ground Zero that would be different than what he saw? How would the victims families look different than they did?

Are you kidding? This is yet another example of Clinton's verbal genius. Think about it: there's no way to really argue with a truther any more than you can argue with a barking dog (just pick any thread in this forum for proof). So instead he quickly dismisses him with a pithy "that's nuts," which I'm sure played very well with the crowd. Not only that, in few short words -- and on the fly mind you -- Clinton (1) invokes the universally sympathetic image of the victim's families, and (2) associates it with a mention of his wife (which, after all, is the sole reason he'd ever be walking the frigid streets of Keene NH in January).
Nice to see Bill hasn't lost his touch. I swear, he could be standing right in front of you, and still successfuly persuade you that he wasn't there.

I guess that he mentions Hillary because presumably she would have to be on the inside of any such inside job.
I expect that he mentions the families to remind them of who they are disrespecting.

Maybe. But it still strikes me as being at the same level as a theist answering an atheist with answers like "I've seen god's work. You're nuts".
Had he quickly dimissed them with a pithy "that's nuts" I would see it differently than preceding the "that's nuts" with non sequiturs.

Must be an inside job. Hillary is paying kids to pose as Ron Paul supporters and 9-11 Truthers. Goal? To make Ron Paul supporters look like loony toons.
Do they even realize that Hillary is not running against Ron Paul?

Isn't it obvious? The only way she can lose is if Ron Paul is made the Republican candidate.
Barack Obama? Who?
Another possibility: all candidates other than Ron Paul are Illuminati and are cooperating to discredit him and stop America from learning the truth!!!!

And neither, apparently, did the US Senate.

From the same link- apparently some of them are smart enough to spot non sequiturs.
Emotionalism. What does any of that have to do with whether 9-11 was an inside job? He saw the victims' families so that means it was Bin Laden?
the existence of the victims' families proves Al Qaeda did it.

Truthers at LCF don't believe it:
i await evidence that clinton really said what the msnbc piece (they are the original source) claims he said, otherwise this is pure unadulterated bull----. its an attack on both ron paul (title) and an attack on 911 truth (partial content).

What is slick willy supposed to say?
"...geee maybe your right and its tied to my administration and legacy too?"
Do you duhbunkers have proof that Bill Clinton is not just saying that to cover his own a$$?
BTW, Ron Paul 2008!
“First they ignore you, then they laugh at you, then they attack
you, then you win.”This old truism seems to be playing out in the case of the
candidacy of Dr. Ron Paul for president. At first he was ignored. He was
ignored in the early republican debates, getting one question for every 2.5
his opponents received. He was ignored by the corporate media in the early
running too, as they assumed everyone would naturally gravitate toward
their pre-selected candidates. Something funny happened on the way to our
corporate election though; the people weren’t buying it anymore.........
