Another victim of Homeopathy, at least this time someone may end up in jail over this.

A couple has pleaded not guilty to the manslaughter of their baby daughter who died after allegedly being treated with homeopathic remedies.

Its only amusement factor is that it purports to illustrate that there's something wrong with moon landing denial, when in fact it simply illustrates that someone lost their temper, which they might feasibly equally have done over finding out their local pub had run out of their favourite beer when they'd been looking forward to it all day, etc.

Yet another young victim of Alternative 'Medicine'.

An alternative medicine devotee will spend six months behind bars for causing his sick daughter brain damage by refusing to take her to hospital.
The Brisbane District Court was told on Tuesday the 11-year-old had been suffering from a heart infection for two weeks before her 45-year-old father finally took her to hospital.
She was gravely ill when she was admitted to Toowoomba Base Hospital in September 2006.
Her temperature was 42 degrees celsius, she had been hallucinating and was weak, pale and could no longer walk.
The court was told her mouth was peeling, black and clogged from the alternative medicine her father had been giving her in extremely high doses.

How is this an example of harm? It's a delightful irony. If the founder of this habit dies of snake bite, one would think it would be a great example to others of the risks in the habit. It was a public service, accidental though it might have been.
