Extremely well made video - the music sync was almost perfect.

Requiem for a Tower is the new O Fortuna.
I've been working on my own video complilation off and on for past several years (covering the whole day, focusing on clips that have no additional graphics and voiceovers), but it is still not finished yet.

Requiem for a Tower?
It's Lux Aeterna by Clint Mansell from the Requiem For A Dream soundtrack.

It's called "Requiem for a Tower", is indeed by Clint Mansell (et al.), but is not on the Requiem For A Dream soundtrack. So, Mangoose is right on both counts, as it’s also the new O Fortuna.

It was commissioned for The Two Towers trailer, and a snatch of it was used in the trailer for the movie, but it was never used in the movie and hence did not not appear on the soundtrack. But it is the requisite piece of music used for climactic scenes or trailers... from everything from WWE commercials to the Da Vinci Code trailer to (my favorite use) Brookers' "Chips" video on Youtube:

Incidentally, if memory serves, shortly after the “Two Towers” trailer, a couple of fellows going by the name Ajax Projection – in lieu of the track being made officially available – released a recreation of it. I still have a soft spot for it.
