Interesting ad by the PIA,Pakistani Airlines - in 1979,
http://commercial-archive.com/node/142249,
I wonder why the LC crew didn't jump on this one, like they did for the FEMA manual covers.
In depth research would of shown this to anyone really looking. oh wait...
It doesn't take much to realize that the WTC was a landmark image for NYC, and would be used to get a point across.

It was pointed to by at least one truther on one occasion that I've personally seen. Other than that, I haven't heard anything about it1.

1 There was a submission to Digg a couple days ago (10 Creepiest Old Ads (http://digg.com/comedy/10_Creepiest_Old_Ads)). This was one of them. Only a handful of the comments I read commented on it in the context of the conspiracy theory, and most of those weren't favorable to the CT.

I have one of the infamous FEMA training manuals - was in class 6 months before 9/11
when instructor pointed out how terrorists bombed the WTC already (know people who
were in building that day!) and would likely try again. FORE KNOWLEDGE!

Well, there was that HBO movie on the first bombing, "Path to Paradise: The Untold Story of the World Trade Center Bombing" (1997) and in it, the captured terrorist said,
"We will destroy them next time...."

We forget how ubiquitous the towers were in ads in the 70's. That one's super-creepy.

I agree that it's kinda creepy...at the time the ad was printed, the biggest crisis we were facing, or dealing with, was the "Iranian Hostage Crisis". I'm reminded of that one almost daily, when I drive past the Avenue of 444 flags, in Hermitage, PA.

Perhaps Alex Jones, superpsychic, was their graphic artist at the time...lol
Disturbing for sure.
