Any and all.

For the past several weeks, my computer has not been automatically updating the Forum when I come on-line. I have to hit the refresh button when I get to the Forum to bring up the most recent posts, when I go to a particular sub-forum, and when I open a thread. It is most irritiating, especially since I cannot figure out what I did.

Now my e-mail account is refusing to update and keeps posting messages that I deleted a week or more ago in my In-box (no content when I open them) and after deleting them and hitting refresh they show up again!

IE Explorer 7.0. I could call my ISP, but have been less than impressed by their service desk in the past.

Any suggestions?

Get a Mac.

You are presumably aware that that wasn't even funny the first time?

I'd suggest emptying the cache, if you haven't already. And try a different browser, to make sure it is the browser that's causing it. Also, I assume you're not running through a proxy - at least that you know of?

And another one joins the Ignore List.

It was the browser, Rat. I am now on Mozilla Firefox and love it, and things update on a regular basis now.

Much thanks to you (and Scrut, when I get around to buying a new computer in about a year, I'll consider a MAC).

I wouldn't - overpriced, overhyped & not too easy to upgrade.

While I agree, let's not have every thread here turn into Mac v PC.
