Hey guys,
I wrote a song about Sylvia Browne!
Check it out here:

It's called 'Sylvia'
I'm fairly certain the style will not be to everyone's taste but I'm sure the sentiment can be appreciated by many.
Here's the lyrics:
Hold on
I didn't ask for that
So long
Won't get your money back
And no one said that I'd be coming back
Oh God
How could you not see through that?
How could you not see through that?
"If they're dumb enough
To fall for that bullxxxx
Then they deserve
Everything they get"
Oh Sylvia
The clock is ticking away
A million
Dollars is yours to take
Sylvia
Sylvia oh Sylvia
The other songs I have sound nothing like it so check them out as well!

jolly little melody you got there. Kind of a jazzy/swingy typa thingy. ;)

Thanks guys! Feel free to mention my myspace to anyone you think may be interested. Shameless mass marketing and all that!

*mock innocent tone* Dannagain, if your anti-Sylvia song becomes famous, do you think that Montel will interview you on his show?;)

Hmmm, maybe Sylvia could duet with me on Montel's show. She looks like she has a fabulous singing voice.

LOL, I imagine that she sounds like Tom Waits when she sings:D

Yeah but with more bass/mucus in her voice. We could mic up her fingernails and she could probably tap out a few catcy rhythms through the talons as well...

me too, I want to do one too.
...
Hmm - how about this:
A Lehrning experience with Sylvia Brown.
Gather round while I sing you of Sylvia Brown
A dear lady whose creed is based upon true greed
Call her a fraudster, she won’t even frown
Fraudschter, Schmaudsters
Says Syliva Brown
Don’t say that she is un-mystical
Call rather her misses statistical
When a guess won’t hit home, who cares if it is sound?
That’s not my department
Says Sylvia Brown
Some have harsh words for this woman’s renown
But some say our attitude should be one of gratitude
Like the widows and cripples, whose money lie around
Can get rid of their pensions to Syliva Brown
You too may be a big hero
all you need is a hit count of zero
“Drowned or alive who cares how they are found?
- I knew they existed!”
Says Sylvia Brown.
(Any similarities to Tom Lehrer’s “Werner von Braun” are completely intentional)

I like it. Was that freestyle or have you worked on that for a while? Either way it's nice. Maybe this thread could turn into a 'Art, music and poetry dedicated to Sylvia' thread.
What else does anyone have to contribute? :)
