Just as the title states, I'm suffering from January Vegas TAM withdrawal. Having attended the past two years, TAM quickly became my much-anticipated vacation. I started thinking about how, this time last year, I was preparing to visit Sin City and mingle with all you lovely folks. Guess I'll have to wait until June. :)

Anyone else feeling a bit wistful for the Vegas-in-January TAM?

A little. But I'm going to Ft Lauderdale to cure it! :)

I was talking to the guy next to me at the symphony the other day about Vegas. If it wasn't for TAM, I would never go. He felt the same way about an annual conference he attends there.

I was remembering the same thing, that last January was my last and first TAM ever.
But not knowing where I'll be next June, I thought I'd take the 5.5 vacation when I can.

Yes, I definitely miss it because I quite enjoy hitting Vegas about once a year. But, I'll be there for about five days in May for a trade show, then again in June for TAM, so I suspect I'll be more than tired of it after all that (until next year, that is).

I haven't been since TAM 3 and am missing it, but TAA 2 in Sept. is helping me last until the summer.

Y'know, they should probably have one of the future Amaz!ng Meetings, near where I live, perhaps somewhere on the Hudson River. Sort-of a Skeptical Enviornmental conference, as an answer to Clearwater's Great Hudson River Revival (http://www.clearwater.org/festival.html).

Maybe they would call it.... River TAM!
