How do you feel about this game:

Do you think it is tasteless? I do not have a problem with it. This game is no different than the many war games that are floating around. I also see it as being no different than a movie that is made about a tragic event.

It's a bit tasteless, but they're not really making any money off of it, so I don't care.

tasteless but what do you expect, it appears to be written by a frenchman. (I kid, I kid)

trivializes a tragic event but my favorite video game deals with the landing at Normandy and that was a pretty awful day as well.

basically i dont know what to think.

Very poor taste, especially considering that the airliners had passengers that day. Oh, well, I don't have to play it, so...

Of course it is tasteless. Just as tasteless as games replaying the Gulf War, Afganistan, Vietnam, WW2 battles etc.

The reason it is felt extra tasteless is that it is so near to you, but that is really an illusion; people died just as horribly and tragically in other places, other times.

Isn't there a slight difference when its

1) A much more recent event

2) The game relates to a mass murder rather than a battle. WW2 games focus on Normandy NOT Auschwitz!

You know, sometimes it is difficult to distinguish a battle from a mass murder.

What about movies about mass murder. They are still made for entertainment. How is a game any different? It may be a bit more involved but it is still for entertainment value like a movie.

I like Frogger better. Letting the cars and trucks squish the frog is strangely satisfying.

Anyone remember Wolfenstein? I don't recall it being based on a battle. It had quite a bit in it on "medical" experiments, as I recall. :)

GUTEN TAG!
