Source (Dan Rather won't report this) (http://www.rushlimbaugh.com/home/daily/site_092203/content/truth_detector_2.guest.html)
Last week on the CBS Early Show, one of the co-hostettes, Hannah Storm asked General Wesley Clark, "Why is now the perfect time for a military man to run this country?" Clark replied:
"Well, first of all, I'm not a military man. I'm just a person who's served in the United States armed forces for most of my adult life."
She should have then asked him what the meaning of "Is" is....

Wesley Clark: The Guy Who Almost Started World War III (http://www.antiwar.com/orig/jatras12.html)
The man wanted to attack our Russian allies over a small turf dispute, as they occupied a Kosovo airport.

Great job with misrepresenting the facts.
What Clark wanted to do was to send British paratroopers to secure the Airport before the Russians got there. How you can interpret that as an attack is beyond me.

American, since you obviously do not know how to make a contribution to these discussions why do you post at all? Do you just have a perverse pleasure in posting crap and then hiding in a dark corner snickering?

ahh, yes, an FM. And a coward.
Edited to add to other posters: If I am being too direct please let me know. Posters who slam, slam, slam with nothing to back it and then run to another trolling post just get to me. My apologies to all who might be offended by my directness.

I don't like Wesley Clark. It's nothing personal against you.

Well Gen. Jackson interpreted it as such and flatty refused to do so. "Im not about to start WWIII for you" quoth the good general.

Here is the thread where American admits to trolling this board. (http://www.randi.org/vbulletin/showthread.php?s=&threadid=23663)
From that thread
Well my original plan was to reach 1000 posts, then really cut loose with the nonsense.

I don't care for Clark myself, or the fact that people are so desperate and disolusioned that they want to jump on the bandwagon of the first guy in uniform that comes along saying anything remotely like they want to hear.
I think the large support for Clark shows how pathetic Americans really are, and without substance.

How pathetic Americans are? Could you be anymore insulting? Could you be more of an ass?
Actually the jumping on Clark's bandwagon is the realization that we do not want Bush and that the current crop of Dems is unlikely to beat Hillary if she comes out of the closet, errr, I meant New York. The thought of Bush vs Clinton is so damn depressing that any fresh face, even a 4 star General, is welcome. We just hope he can learn to steer a straight course and not bomb everything.

I took the liberty to correct your post malachi, I think this is more accurate picture of the situation. :D :p

Malachi151,
I've asked you before, but maybe you missed it. If not Clark, then who would you favor as the next President?

I don't think he's in favor of anything short of revolution to a system of communes and tribes ruled by "concensus", Chomsky's euphemism for gang rule.

Well, yes, I'm curious about that, American. Is that the case, Malachi? Or is there a candidate in the existing system whom you would support?

"I'm not a military man." -Slick Wesley
Seriously, there are other candidates with the same views as Clark. The reason this guy is the democrat of hope is because liberal democrats would rather elect a war general than lose to a republican.

I don't remember the incident well since it has been so long ago, but I believe it had something to do with how Russia was supporting Yugoslavia and there was some concern over what would Russia do with that airport and who will it allow to use (*WARNING I COULD BE HORRIBLY WRONG ABOUT THIS*). Jackson interpreted it one way, but in the end no attack was ordered no matter how you slice it.
