I know I'm not the only one geeky enough to be checking the forums from the safety and comfort of TAM, so...

I had proposed hitting Anthony's Coal Fired Pizza for dinner Sunday evening. I just noticed, however, that the pizza place is relatively close to the JREF offices, so maybe it would be best to combine two trips into one. How about planning to go to JREF near the start of the open house and then get pizza for lunch?

I'll float this idea around at the forum party tonight and will try to remember to post the official sanctioned results by morning.

Is Coal fired pizza that good? I've never had it. I'm making a business trip to New York soon and I was going to check out Totono's coal fired pizza because I saw it on the travel channel and it looked pretty tasty.

Holy smokes! I thought there would be six or seven of at at the pizza place, but I counted 35! Thanks for coming, everyone!

liverleef >> Yes, it's definitely checking out a place that features a coal oven.

Thanks for coordinating Desktop Icon! We had fun! It was really funny to watch the wait staff as JREF-ers kept walking in after we kept saying "OK, I think that's IT"

And, even better, there was a second round of JREF-ers later in the day.... All told, Desktop and his wife lead about 50 people there.....

WAY TO GO!

That pizza was quite good! Perhaps the edge of the crust was a bit burt. But, otherwise very tasty!
