Although I took my camera, I took very few pictures. If you have pictures or links to share, post them or a link here so I can copy or otherwise steal enjoy them also. I have pictures of a trip to South Beach I took on Friday, but there wasn't any forum or TAM people along, so I won't post those. I just didn't get much otherwise.

If you post the pictures, put them at a high res. As I only took a few, I'll put one here and then my link. Below, Skeptdoc (Harriet Hall) leaned over just as I took the pic, she's right behind Randi. xenxabar is looking on, the two young men right behind Randi are my sons Sailor Boy and Travis, my friends Eric and Janet at towards the back. I do not know the guy to the right of the picture.

As usual, I have NO pictures of me.

I'll post my pictures, soon. But, for now, I wanted to annouce this:

I hereby grant everyone to post whatever photos they took of me, that they want to!

In fact, I encourage it! I'd love to see what aspects of my craziness everyone managed to capture, in their cameras!

Here are all the pictures I took, pretty much as I took them. Mostly my pictures are of Florida, not people, but if you need a picture of a pelican, you can find one (or a dozen) here (http://picasaweb.google.com/hcmomof4/TAM55)

I'll be posting some flickr links soon. I have the 'Everglades' portion of the trip uploading now.

If anyone finds themselves in a photo that they don't want to be in, just let me know and I'll do whatever is needed to solve the issue. I'll either crop, blur, black out, or remove the photo entirely... depending on the situation.

*GIGGLE*

Well, by the time I realized I hadn't taken any photos, I was kind of a *LITTLE* bit tipsy and wound up only taking three out-of-focus, very dark photos which may have people in them, but might also be photos of tennis nets, the sky, alien creatures, or really pretty much anything that can appear as a flesh coloured blur.

My only unblurry triumph:

I was just now doing the podcast trying to explain to Jay et al exactly how much I had to drink Saturday/Sunday, and found it was just impossible. I mean, I was faced before I even showed up at the party, and it just went downhill from there. Or uphill depending upon your perspective.

I think I'm going to dry out for a couple of decades after this past weekend.I only had a few drinks in 2007 but planned to be off the wagon for the weekend. I don't feel a bit guilty, although it's possible I don't remember everything I did. The only scare was when I woke up Sunday morning to the hotel housekeeper saying "Oh!" I was on top of the covers and thought, "Geez, I hope I'm wearing clothes." I was. And shoes.

I was dry for most of 2007 and planned on being off the wagon for the weekend. I don't feel a bit guilty, although it's possible I don't remember everything I did. The only scare was when I woke up Sunday morning to the hotel housekeeper saying "Oh!" I was on top of the covers and thought, "Geez, I hope I'm wearing clothes." I was. And shoes.

So housekeeping had to wake you up on Sunday, too, huh? That makes about 20 of us.

The woman who woke me wasn't very pleasant. I briefly considered breathing on her.

My only unblurry triumph:

http://img184.imageshack.us/img184/5108/img00040xm1.th.jpg (http://img184.imageshack.us/my.php?image=img00040xm1.jpg)

Wow, that picture came out less blurry than I thought it would.

Brodski, you bastard, when a girl is asked to put her shoe on a coffee table for photographing, there's a good faith assumption that the photographer will not be shooting up her dress! Especially when she's only wearing thigh-highs. FYI.

Luckily in this case I'm a total exhibitionist so I don't really care. But the next girl might not be so kind!

I enjoyed the article. Anyone know who the author is?

I'm having a forgetful moment. I know I spoke with the blue collar guy. Trying to remember his name, though.

It's Jeff. Unless it's a scientologist packing a lawyer whose asking, in which case I am George W. Bush.

Blue Collar Scientist lives in Alaska and programs NASA telescopes to look for asteroids. Very friendly short skinny dude in his 40s, sat on the table corner left of me wearing a checked shirt at the Mexican place on Saturday night. He has the excellent taste to like my blog. (-;

I do like your blog, Martin. Or, rather, I used to like your blog, until you started to add years^h^h^h^h^h months to my age! Forties indeed. I'll have you know, I have ten more months before I'm in my forties, and I intend to squeeze them for all they are worth! ;-)

Seriously for a moment - the gist of that is right, but NASA grants PIs to look for asteroids. I've been a contractor for a few of the PIs. So I'm a few steps removed from actually doing anything as glamorous as programming NASA telescopes.

OF COURSE!! That was driving me crazy. Really nice guy and we'll be seeing him soon, here on the threads.

Nice guy? You'll remember saying that when you find out what I'm really like.

Anyway, I'm finally back home from my month-long east coast travels, and I wanted to stop in here and say "hi," it was great to meet a bunch of you at TAM.
