If you don't feel like clicking all of these, just read the Wikipedia link. It gives a general synopsis--the other links are more specific details.
This is just plain epic, if you ask me.

I've been following this for a few days and it's kept me greatly amused.
XenuTV1- a youtube user who has been fighting CoS for a decade has posted a response aimed at Anonymous calling for them to be careful of CoS's litigeous nature and other creepy tactics they use. Several teens have already been followed by... well, followers, for some time after picketing a branch office.
This is well worth keeping an eye on

There already is a thread about this in General Skepticism.

I don't see it so I'll post here.
Perhaps RSL could put a bug in their ear about Sylvia Browne, for when they need a new target.

4chan? What are you talking about? This is clearly an eBaums world thing.

If people are claiming 4chan and you are claiming eBaum then the answer is obvious.
eBaumsworld has stolen the war from 4chan.

I don't know why but I have an urge to say to them you can both stand in the corner until you are prepared to be nice.
I think I am turning into a grumpy old man

Stupid thread topic. It hadn't dawned on me there was a chan association. Now it's a lot harder to root against the scientologists.

You'll live.
In my case I heard that ED was doing something in relation to this as well.
After discussing it the official Uncyc stance is that we are neutral (or that we support them and oppose them or we don't support them and we don't oppose them) except that since ED used it to insult us so we might be against them.
Either way I'll probably go into the city on the 10th and see if anonymous go through with their physical protest.

On another note, this site ("http://forums.enturbulation.org/viewtopic.php?t=8&sid=051977a64e26b69b147cd85fd837e8d8) has information on Australian raids.
Although I think the Adelaide one sounds the best: Adelraid.

This is an article from Sydney Indymedia (http://sydney.indymedia.org.au/story/anonymous-confronts-church-scientology)about the protests in Sydney.
This is a fake article (http://sydney.indymedia.org.au/hidden/node/53163?page=1) (comments include copious swearing) that was also posted to Sydney Indymedia claiming to be about the Sydney protests:
Just got these pics emailed through from a phonecam. Called my mate to find out what was going on:
"around 10 minutes into the protest, the scientologists turned up and started filming us. There are around 20 of us here and for some reason a fight broke out between Anon and Sci. Police arrested 2 anon and no scientologists" Police horses were just called in and they are holding the two groups apart.
my mate had to get off the phone because it was getting very noisy and he couldn't hear me. Updates soon.
The photos attached to the post are actually from an American protest against Haliburton. The police uniforms are nothing like Australian uniforms. Was this an attempt by Scientologists to smear the protestors or was it an attempt make the Scientologists look stupid and nasty?

I've read several articles on the web about protests happening all over the world....I hope it will do some good...Maybe stop one person from joining CO$.
I didn't hear mention of any of the protests on CNN, MSNBC, BBC, etc., but I really didn't watch much t.v. today. I'll have to check youtube....

...Shortly after it was hit with the DDOS flood, the Scientology.org Web site was moved to a server hosted by Prolexic Technologies, according to dat compiled by Netcraft, an Internet monitoring company. Prolexic specializes in protecting companies from DDOS attacks.

I dunno. I'm trying to think of an instance where publicity and persecution were ever good long term strategies against a religion.
