Finally it's starting to look like the 21'st century (http://www.liveleak.com/view?i=17e_1201885243) (or the 31'st century (http://ppc.warhawkenterprises.com/intshots/stonebt.jpg)). It isn't a 'phased plasma rifle in the 40 watt range', but for some of us with a strong interest in cinematics and science fiction with a strong emphasis on science, the sights and sounds are thrilling food for thought.

Now, to scale them down and fit them to the latest anti gravity technology (http://www.liveleak.com/view?i=6b2_1201784970).

It isn't a 'phased plasma rifle in the 40 watt range'...Heh, I have to think that was a typo in the screenplay. Forty watts doesn't sound particularly powerful, I mean I've got a forty watt light bulb in my desk lamp.

Forty Watts could accelerate a steel needle to a quite respectable velocity in the length of a gun barrel. Too tired to calculate it now...
