Improving the sights on your weaponry and upgrading your range finder will help this problem immeasurably.

Ah! Agur nostalgia. May I share these two limericks I once composed for him (I suggested he might try that meter instead of haiku):

---

A claimant of sorts from Japan
Said "I am a miracle man,
and to Randi I say, please do not run away"
And that's how these threads all began

---

A self-proclaimed psychic from old Tokyo
Purports to know what we others don’t know
But if you question his claims, the response is the same
He is certain to be a no-show

---

Thank you.

Firm and persevering till the bitter end.

Agur's problem was that he seemed to think posting on this forum constituted an application for the $1 million. I e-mailed him in Japanese to confirm what he claimed he could do, and he still replied in crappy English. The man was a lost cause from the start.
I still miss his rantings, though. They made a change from Paul "I will blind you" Bethke.

I tried to communicate with him in Japanese also (well, my crappy book learned Japanese) and he responded with his haiku English as well.

One thing that gave me hope, however, was after I hammered him failing to first make it thunder in DC (in the summer, talk about a worthless claim), then rain in the southwest, he actually admitted to Bjorn that he failed, and that he had to rethink things. I gained some respect for him for that.

Last I heard his girlfriend Sophie was very ill and he had to stop posting. He disappeared from a few other forums at the same time.

This to me indicates a strong desire NOT to communicate successfully.

That thread was nightmarish! What was his actual claim?

THat he could heal people psychically of otherwise incurable diseases. We suggested he try Stephen Hawking.

He couldn't do it, though.
Much like the reiki woo-woo I was debating on e-budo (www.e-budo.com), until I was banned.
