Sexy Saide is also known as Maharishi Mahesh Yogi. After the Beatles grew disenchanted with him and left his ashram in India, John Lennon wrote a bitter (but beautiful) song about him and named it Sexy Sadie.
I don't know about the last paragraph of the following (the last paragraph as of now...maybe they'll update it). It says TM gradually gained medical respectability. Meditation in general has some credibility in helping people relax, focus, etc, but I think that's much broader than just TM.
