I wouldn't have even mentioned this, but the announcement about $5-Million in "loans" made me wonder:
How is Huma affording a $650,000 apartment in Washington DC, especially now that Hillary's staffers are now working for free?
Hillary Clinton’s mysterious, glamorous aide de camp, Huma Abedin, is the subject of some wild speculation. I just thought it would be worthwhile to mention it here, and see what the discussion evolves into...

Maybe this Huma person is Hillary's equivalent of Monica?
I'm waiting for the second page to load, but if that is what they are saying then I don't know. It might answer some questions to people, but I think that this Huma person is probably just embezzling campaign funds or something like that.

Do you mean a $650,000 condo? That can't be the rent. It must be the price to own it, right?

Yeah, I put a lot of stock in a couple of blogs that were written several months ago by hacks with an agenda. If this story had legs it would have hit the mainstream by now. I would only recommend that people read them if they want to be overcome by a wave of stupidity and racism.

This is why I hope Hillary doesn't get the nomination. I really cannot stand eight months of utterly insane right-wing fantasy "Hunting of the President" crud again.
Bill Clinton raped a woman! Hillary is keeping her gay lover in a condo! Aliens from outer space are sleeping in my car!
Sheesh.

If aliens are sleeping in your car you should lock the doors at night.
For the other stuff it will be harder to solve.

My thoughts exactly. Anyone who doubts this can simply read the threads in this forum and see how the election will play out. Actually, I think it would be worse.

Elanore Roosevelt's gayness didn't hurt FDR's political career over 60 years ago, so how would Hillary's sexual preference hurt her political career in 2008?
Clinton fatigue has now eclipsed fibromyalgia as the most common debilitating disease.

Elanore Roosevelt's gayness didn't hurt FDR's political career over 60 years ago,
Was the majority of the public aware of it at the time? Somehow I doubt that. The press use to be much more hands off politician's private lives in the past. I'm guessing this started to change in the '70s. Perhaps it was a side effect of Watergate. When powerful people in politics were publicly and undeniably exposed to be common crooks -- perhaps that is when the press decided to drop the hands off approach.
so how would Hillary's sexual preference hurt her political career in 2008? If proven to be true, I think it would smash her chances, esp. outside of the large cities. And since the presidency is one office that is not won by one voter == one vote, what voters think in the smaller communities matters more than what voters in the larger communities think. (Per capita, the rural communities and small cities get more delegates than the large cities.)
Clinton fatigue has now eclipsed fibromyalgia as the most common debilitating disease.
Critical thinking doesn't carry the day in politics. Rumours, lies, non sequitors, false promises and fairy tales all make a huge difference. Unfortunately.
What would it take for the only things to matter in American politics would be hard evidence and historical facts (like politicians previous voting records)? I don't know, but I wish I did.

Cute's not the word I would use... I'd say "elegant" or something like that.

I think you'll see less of this nonsense from the Right these days due to the conservative blogosphere stamping it out. Note the sharp criticism (http://www.captainsquartersblog.com/mt/archives/009308.php) from the consosphere when Ann Coulter made her stupid remarks at CPAC last year about John Edwards being a "faggot". Coulter was not invited back to this year's conference.
Hillary Clinton has her flaws, certainly, but this sort of attempted character assassination won't work. And before anybody gets huffy, I'm not saying there's anything wrong with "that", but it would certainly be a liability politically if it were true.

Something tells me Clinton wants the WH so bad that she wouldn't entertain a lover, be it a woman or a man. I think she knows the political game better than that.

Politics is a horrible business. If the OP is true (Hillary has a lesbian lover) than she is an adultress (as Bill was an adulterer) and that in itself is a bad thing. More importantly, if the story takes wind, true or not, it may well be the end of her political career. As much as I dislike her persona, I do not wish such on her...I hope the story dies...

I find it hard to dislike any politician who has that sort of taste in women.
