If he was proud of his activities and they were legal why did Almog run away from the law?

'... Campaigners say the homes were destroyed by the Israeli army as retribution for a Palestinian militant attack, in contravention of the laws of war protecting civilian property. Israel says destruction of Palestinian houses is among the necessary measures it takes to protect its citizens. ...'

Jean Charles de Menezes was initially thought to be running from the police. At that time, did you think he had it coming?

Furthermore, how much money do the families of suicide bombers recieve and does the UK have proceeds of crime legislation?

By the way, this is the correct link:

IDF Major General Doron Almog was sure to know that the "charges" brought against him by "Palestinian campaigners" would have resulted in a show trial. An Israeli army officer has as much chance of a fair and impartial jury the United Kingdom Of Great Britain And Northern Ireland as Murderous Mary (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Mary_%28elephant%29) had in Kingsport, TN (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Kingsport%2C_Tennessee) in 1916.

Any rational person would have done the same.
