Germany is not covered by the First Amendment. If CoS is verboten in Germany, that settles it. Let the leadership of CoS try and fight this in German court. I hear they often hire lawyers for any number of disputes, and I fiure that German lawyers need to make their car payments as well.

Pro tip for the German lawyers: charge by the hour. ;)

They were operating in Munich last time I was there.

How on earth would a Scientologist kindergarten work?

"No, Timmy, you can't color until you purchase the Operating Thetan Coloring Book packet for $1,900. Betty, the playhouse is for Clears only. Johnny! The e-meter is not a toy!"

eta: I would love to see a Fisher Price People Scientology Playset. It would include Tom Cruise, John Travolta, L Ron Hubbard, some Thetans, and a volcano playhouse complete with intergalactic airplanes and nuclear bombs.

eta2: And pretty much every kid who played with it would realize there weren't any ladies, so Tom Cruise and John Travolta would have to be a couple. And that just goes to show that kids aren't as stupid as we think they are.

There's a CoS in the neighborhood of Schwabing, right?
