Recently, in certain chat circles (on Paltalk), I've now heard several paranormal believers make references to an alleged study of crop circles supported by the British Military. I'm attempting to trace the possible origins and certain aspects of the claims I've been hearing, and am having little success finding anything of substance on the web. I was able, though, to find something from the summer of 1990 referred to as either Operation Blackbird (or Project Blackbird, not sure which is correct), which was purportedly funded in part by the BBC and Nippon television, and involved "cereologist" Colin Andrews.
Is anyone familiar with this "study?"
Did BBC actually air a program about this?
I'm hopeful that some of our forum members from the UK might be able to shed some light on this, as I'm attempting to separate fact from fiction in several areas.
Thanks in advance. :)
