From the Washington Times (http://tinyurl.com/2h7d4c):
[...] Director Richard Linklater ("Slacker," "The School of Rock") isn't officially on board, but he was intrigued enough to send Washington Times reporter Kelly Jane Torrance some conspiracy videos.
Miss O'Donnell claims the collapse of the World Trade Center towers was "the first time in history that fire has ever melted steel — it is physically impossible."
Popular Mechanics quickly refuted her expert account, saying the steel was weakened by the fire enough to hasten the collapse.
Mr. Nelson compared the falling Twin Towers to an implosion he witnessed in Las Vegas and said, "There's too much similarities between the two."
More at the link, where the article basically devolves into a right-versus-left-who-really-believes-this-stuff-more distraction from what could have been a devastating rebuttal to the mountains of ignorance celebrity Troofers and in general Hollywood idiots shovel into our national discussion.
I wonder what the resident Troofers here have to say about these glistening jewels of intellect and their beliefs about 9-11. Any takers?

If the 911 movement and Scientology join forces whatever will we do?
Anyone know real estate prices on the moon?
Io that is?

Wow, I never thought I'd see this: Two groups that, if combined, would drop the credibility of both of them.

What if the incredibilities are out of phase, in a kind of destructive interference?
What if they plug each other's gaps, collapsing into a singularity of nonsense, where all known laws of logic cease to operate, and it actually makes sense?
I'm going to go and have a lie down.

I wonder what they have to say that Marion Cotillard, who they were prasing to the skies and Crowing as their new Queen after her 9.11/Moon Hoax comments hit the news,is now trying to back down from her statements as quickly as possible.

Linklater was questionably woo before 9/11. He has been close to Alex Jones since before 9/11, even using him in the 2001 movie, Waking Life. Since then he's used Alex again in A Scanner Darkly. I don't think of Linklater as a celebrity who "came out". As a matter of fact, I don't think of him as a celebrity.
Of course, he's not "officially" on board, which begs the question, why would someone pass along conspiracy videos if they weren't 'on-board'?

As one (probably not the only one here) who worked in entertainment for awhile, I can promise there is NO group of people less informed... and NO group of people more self-deluded about their understanding of world events... than those employed by the entertainment industry.
They really live in a different world, which makes it impossible to understand the one the rest of us are in. But God forbid trying to tell one of them that. :p

With Marion Cotillard being exhibit One to prove your point at the moment.

As for Hollywood Celebs, I have often wondered if their liberalism is powered less by political conviction and more by the idea that to be a Liberal is "Cool and Hip".
A few probably are sincerely motivated, but a lot are just doing what they think will help them be a "Player" in showbiz.

It's easy to be a liberal when you make more money than anyone could ever possibly need.

A few people have cynically noted that Show Biz celebs liberalism ends where their bank accounts begin.
Whenever someone in congress suggests closing the tax loopholes and breaks that show biz types massively use, that Liberal Actor you saw endorsing Obama on the news last weeks sounds like the most conservative GOP businessman you can imagine when discussing changing the tax code.

I generally don't go to Moonie Newsletters for my hard news, but if they're going to start covering truly significant stuff like this, I may have to get a subscription.

I'm surprised there aren't more entertainment woos around.
You honestly have no idea how strange the world they live in is until you've been in it. Th environment is so self-reflecting and so isolated from the "real world" that you honestly feel like you're living on the moon.
Only someone who has worked in the industry can truly appreciate just how much of a struggle it is to actually keep a hold on the rest of reality. Even just maintaining non-industry friendships is unbelievably difficult.

I guess the prices are pretty high if all the Hollywood celebrities are already living there.

You have NO idea. Limousine Liberals are useless. Those of us in the fight for real never get a dime from them. We fund our ventures with SMALL investors and individual buy-ins. I don't even think they count for any votes.
