Christians win again on advertising

I just saw that the ASA in the UK has ruled that a hair products TV ad offends Christians (http://news.bbc.co.uk/1/hi/uk/7291155.stm). There were 23 complaints. I suggest that 23 of us find some ads that offend an equal number of obscure irrational beliefs. They don't even have to be real - well by definition irrational beliefs are not real. We then send our complaints to the ASA and see what happens. Maybe better to choose the same ad and invent a belief for all of us. Any thoughts?

Well the Lords Prayer is a pretty central element to a lot of Christians, so maybe the advertiser may have shown a little more tact

Well if they are anything like the Australian commercial people you may have to find more then 23 people to complain about a certain ad.

I've seen that product advertised in shop windows in exactly the same manner up and down the country for at least five years. Odd that they only complain now.

But perhaps a better ploy would be to find religious ads and complain that they offend sceptics.
