Hey...
I hope y'all saw Randi's commentary note about the limited-edition trip to the planetarium and have already bugged Linda about going :)

I saw the comment. Wasn't there a thread on here where quite a few of us already signed up to go to the planetarium. I recall signing up to go.
Off to find the thread.........................
edited to add: here it is: Link (http://www.randi.org/vbulletin/showthread.php?s=&threadid=6636&highlight=buehler)

Thanks Mr. Skinny - I guess I just plain missed that one.
But you can certainly count us in.

As there are very limited spots available, you might want to take Tree and I off the list to free up 2 slots for folks that have already registered for the conference.
My previously approved vacation is now back in flux, so I won't know if I'll be able to attend the conference at all, no less when I'll be able to get there and leave if I'm able to.

On the show last night they (Randi, Andrew, et al.) got an email from Linda saying she saw this list and registered everyone for the trip.

Might I assume the 30 mark has been reached?
I mean, I'd be honored to go -- I'll probably end up weeping with delight  -- but as I'm on scholarship, I'd be very happy to let people who've paid go. I feel lucky enough as it is. :)

John Yes Linda has reached 30. However, she has started a waiting list, and as of the PM I got this morning it was short, i.e. just me. So get your name in NOW.

No, that's cool. I bet there'll be plenty of shenanigans on the garage roof!

This is what the sky over the meeting will look like come Meeting weekend in Fort Lauderdale.
This is about 9pm. You're looking east-southeast. Jupiter is elevated about 40 degrees, Saturn is elevated about 85 degrees.
Here's hoping for clear skies!

The list has been expanded to 100!
But I can't tell, from my earlier comments, whether I'm on the waiting list (and therefore on the expanded list)! :(
Gee, I'd sure like to be -- but, if I'm not, so be it. I'm still going to have a kickin' time, one way or the other! :D
