(I had a hard time posting my comments on YouTube. Did that happen to you, too? I noticed some YouTubers disable posting comments to avoid criticism or getting in touch with "reality". Could that apply here? I switched off my inner cynic for the last hour, will reengage it as of this second.)

I agree. If someone announces in public that they want to take the challenge, they should be encouraged to learn about it and to apply. And if his claims are bogus, he should be called on it. There is widespread misinformation about Randi in the woo community (the money's not really there, etc).

I tried at least a dozen times - seriously - to post the comment I quoted above in the threads jimtron linked.
I even registered under a different user name: vollassibrosius.
That's usually a no-no, I know, but I simply wanted to get the comment posted. No luck. Hm.

If I had to venture a guess, I'd say he's baiting people - trying to increasing his self-importance - and he is very well knowing it.

This thread should indeed be moved. Not only has there not been a proper application, there has not even been made a single coherent claim. Except for unsubstantiated meandering on his videos.

I suspect very much that Mr. Chance will not submit to a controlled test. Ever.

Yes indeed , I mainly frequent the Sgu forums where this topic is becoming pretty legendary.

These boards don't allow me to use links until I get to 15 posts , but if anyone completes my youtube link and watches that video. Then it becomes clear what Jeff wrote.

Sorry for any confusion.

Basically the kid is a total nut job and I wouldn't recommend going into his videos or his friends videos it gets pretty disturbing. Mainly the adults that encourage it and are crazier than him.

Also he made fake Jeff Wagg youtube pages to attempt to verify his story and back him up it's pretty sad.
