Everyone knows that Gold is a combination of Earth and Fire. That's why you have to dig up the ore and add fire in a smelting process. That's why it seems to glow against the skin, especially purer gold.

You must be one of those newfangled quintessentialists; four elements was just fine for my daddy, and his, and his, and his, so it's good enough for me.
