Sorry if this has been posted before. Does anyone think the ghost in this video might be real? If not, how was this done?

Well that's the most plausible recording of a ghost I've seen so far. It really looks like the apparition in the movie is interacting with the objects in the room. Hopefully an authority on paranormal phenomena can shed more light on what we are seeing.

There was a ghost in that? I was looking for the baby-sitter to steal something.
I don't think she did.

It's just reflections from the cars outside.
Use your head!
Bri
29th March 2008, 04:41 PM
But as Wauthan pointed out, the specter is interacting with the environment, so it couldn't be a reflection from a car. It must be a real ghost! Nothing else makes any sense!

I'm a little skeptical of this video. They're supposed to have set up the camera to catch the babysitter stealing but the focus of the camera is on a crib and a chair. There's nothing to steal. If, let's say, there were valuables in the dresser on the left, why wasn't the camera pointed with the dresser in the middle of the frame?
My instincts say it's a hoax.

That is obviously not a man with a sheet over him. I think it would be physically impossible for a human being to move like that. Someone should do a computer simulation to see if it's even possible for a man to move like that, like they did with that Bigfoot video on the Discovery channel.

I blame the education system.
Same person was convinced her pictures of dust were orbs mind you,so critical thinking isnt top of her agenda.

I don't think there's a reliable way to tell if it's a ghost or the ghost of an alien.

There is one way to tell. The ghost is covered by a fitted sheet, rather than a flat sheet. Aliens (and therefore their ghosts) only have access to flat sheets through their abductions, whereas humans (and therefore their ghosts) have access to both.

Well clearly it has to be real. Hollywood doesn't have the technology to fake something like this. Hopefully some ghost hunters will be able to investigate this.
Has anyone checked the video for E.V.P.'s?

Your logic is flawed. If it was nothing more than a man with a sheet over him, he would have posted it in humour, but since he didn't, that's obviously not the case.

You know what always pissed me off about Scooby-Doo - the ghosts in Scooby-Doo always acted like ghosts - going through walls and being transparent and floating above the floor - until they finally catch it. Then it's a guy with a sheet over him.

Think, man.
Logically, ghosts don't want to be seen. If they did, then we wouldn't need ghost hunters.
It then follows that the best method to avoid detection is to LOOK like a man in a sheet.
To test this hypothesis, I wore a sheet today in an elevator full of people. As far as I could tell, NO ONE NOTICED my presence.
At any rate, no one made eye contact. Although I think they sensed some sort of presence, for at the next floor everyone mysteriously got off.

I tried something similar once, going up to an old farmhouse.
I got a rock.
