I told you Ron Paul would fall back to his nutbars once he was out of the spotlight (what little of it he had).

As for Bob Barr, dont know.

Bob Barr was a Georgia congressman who, while in office, was rabidly right-wing, representing the fundamentalist Christian elements of the Republican party. Once he got kicked out of office due to a desire for sanity, he became a born-again libertarian. He's got a small following from libertarians and Republitarians.

What do these three have in common?

They're all gonna protest (http://www.grannywarriors.com/capitol.jpg) in the hidden owl's anus (http://www.theforbiddenknowledge.com/hardtruth/washington_owl.jpg)?

Or that "voted out" can be easily changed to "will be shot" if they, the truthers, were to assume power?

This is our chance to show Congress and the Senate there are eyes on them and they can be voted out if they do not start doing their jobs.

Who knows! Who wants to know? ;)

You know, I have to be honest here, I like some Libertarian ideas. Sometimes I feel like the government has it's fingers in way too many pies. It's too bad every time I see one of their politicians, though, they're seemingly insane.

You may find that the libertarian ideas you believe in are largely platitudes that sound good.

"Government should be as small as possible" is one of those things that everyone believes, and that government could stand to be smaller isn't exactly novel either.

I believe both of these things, and I'm pretty much a socialist. The "Libertarian" party is sort of a bait and switch where they draw casual people in with the platitudes, when at the core they are a bit more sinister and silly. Sort of like scientology...

Could be. The few libertarians (far as I can tell anyway) on these boards seem more concerned with some of the ridiculousness instead of the platitudes anyway, like the politicians, which is unfortunate.

Ah well, what are you going to do? Besides not vote for them, that is ;)

You have your map screwed up. They will actually be protesting in the tiny brown square mistakenly labeled Capital Guide Service Kiosk.

And they'll have room to spare.

Gee, they are guaranteed to get more votes than Michael Badnarik!

They will go from 0.47% up to 0.50%.

The fringe is always so entertaining.
