Prayer team?

Does GW really have a "prayer team"? If so, man, that is pretty terrifying. It scares me in general having a born again as the commander in chief. I guess we'd all just better cross our fingers and hope that the almighty doesn't tell GW to attack the Frenchies and Germans next time he's speaking to George's heart. Have you ever noticed the language that Oral and Jimmy Swaggart and the rest of those guys use in order to get around sounding completely out of their gourds? God "spoke to my heart". God is always just "speaking to their hearts" (whatever the h*ll that means) so they they don't have to sound nut because God is speaking to their ears. The fact that they use such language tells me that they are very careful not to go over the line to such an extent that even their followers start to look askance.

OK. Checked out the website. They are screwballs for sure, but no evidence that the president actually put them up to this. If he did it would be plenty scary, but I don't see it.

Instead, at least until proven otherwise, I take the position that these are screwballs who like the president but are rather an embarassment to him, assuming he even knows about them.

I claim no ability to read the president's mind, but in his public pronoucements he's been toning down the specific religious stuff. And saying "God bless America" and the like doesn't count, all presidents have done that in my lifetime, more's the pity.

What I want to know is why is it everytime God 'speaks to their hearts' it ends up sounding like they are 'talking out of their *ss?'
