Saw an ad for this in our local paper today. First breath assure, now they've gone whole-hog, a pill that supposedly reduces underarm, foot AND mouthodor.... sure. They might want to look into the various mechanisms for each odor...

A pill will sell. Folks all over are believing body odour is caused by 'toxins' from the environment or bad chemicals invading our food. Blah blah crap crap.

But people believe it.

You wouldn't believe the reaction I get when I tell people the worst BO comes from bacteria eating our naturally excreted oils/etc and excreting their own stinky waste products. Then there's this urea stuff in our sweat that is smelly and is also the main ingredient of our urine.

I mean, there is a reason why swabbing an area of your body (armpit) with a swab soaked in alcohol will reduce smells (clean away excretement and kill the bacteria so they can't cause any more smells. The smell will be gone until the bacteria population re-builds, as it does after every time you bathe or shower. Even deoderants can't keep them completely away for long.

but them peoples just think I'm full of sh*t (excrement) :D

It is hilarious how those folks reek after starting these hoax products. Um, aren't you sposed to smell better, not worse? The people selling the crap assure you that you are just going through a detox phase as the product chases smellies out of your body (get worse before better scam). Then you will stop smelling after using the product for ....months and months. LOL! You can always tell who is buying that crap from their BO. Just reminds you why they started making deoderant in the first place

While chlorophyll does have some odor absorbing properties, there's the matter of getting it to the various sites around the body. I'm betting it just masks the user's own sense of smell, and does nothing for the people around him.

I doubt chlorophyll tablets even do that. They probably have a nice, minty flavor that connotes freshness. Completely psychological.
