I knew it, I just frigging knew it. My "special " wine glass is broken. I knew one day I'd drop it and it would shatter. And today was the day.
Damn - how I wish I'd have applied for the JREF million!
On the up-side....at least it was empty.

I knew last week today would be the day your wine glass broke so I'm more powerful than you are. :p

I warned somebody, but it turns out my spirit guide got a little screwed up. :o
On the upside, Debbie Gibson has been extra careful with her dishes the last few days.

You have saved your children the burden I have to bear, I have a set of crystal wine glasses passed down to me that my Mom says her Mom set on the table with water every day they had dinner at home. That would be my Mom and her three brothers almost every day (in that era you had a family dinner almost every day) for more than 2 decades (2 brothers were much older so that still accounts for toddlers and babies not drinking out of crystal glasses of water. There is not a chip on a single glass and not one ever broke.
This is a heavy burden. I cannot just box them up. They have to at least come out when Mom is here. ;)

Was it the hat I wear that threw you off?

Did you really believe foil would protect you? BTW, I know you're an extraterrestrial! :p

Predictions after the fact are meaningless. If you told us two days ago your glassware was at risk and confirmed yesterday that your favorite wineglass broke we might be more impressed.

Aw...silly earthling, I was referring to the ever present hat the Debbie Gibson donned in her oh-so-rivetting videos.

Well yeah - that's why I said I "wished" I had of applied for the million. But then of course, Randi (or whoever decides) would have said I simply threw the glass on the floor due to having consumed the contents. You know how "they" don't "really " have or want to give up that prize.

Yes, but they are a staple of woo epistemology. "I just KNEW it would happen. Must be proof of psychic powers!"
I wish I had a dollar for each time someone uses a post-diction as "solid proof".
But favorite glasses do tend to break. Just buy another, it will grow favorite too.

I believe they have programs to help people who have difficulty understanding humor, satire and sarcasm.
I think it has something to do with removing long, wooden, broom handle type "sticks" from certain body cavities.
Not that I'm saying you are one of those people or anything.
