My kid's political science teacher told him that the reason we have a good, strong two-party system is that nothing much gets done.....

This shows a great deal of ignorance. There is a plan available 24 hours a day tracking the next-in-line - whomever that may be. CBN must be full of idiots.

If you wiped out Congress, you just wouldn't have any new laws until you replaced them. It's not like Congress runs the government. What's the big deal?

I love the reasoning at the end of the article. We have to change things because, as it stands now, we could end up with a Democrat running things, or even worse, a woman!

There's more truth to that then you might think. Our whole system of government is designed so that no one party can swoop in and change everything overnight. The wheels turn slowly.

Then John Edward, Sylvia Browne, James Van Praagh, et al would have a field day taking quorum counts and roll call votes for all of the dead congress people.

I am seeing a person in a dark suit, who is in a position of some authority, with an 'A' or 'E' or some other vowel in his name, that is shaking his head.

OK, put that down for "aye".

I have no comment as commenting would be tantamount to peeing into the wind and I don't like wet shoes.

I will say that I have rated this thread 1 star to counteract billie's need for validation or whatever. Given that there's only 2 votes, mine bringing it to the level it's at, I can only guess who the other rater was.

Hyuck hyuck hyuck

Pat Robertson needs to be punched in the mouth... hard.

F*** Pat Robertson. F*** him! The man is a F***ing IMBECILE!

He seems to have forgotten something called the CONSTITUTION! Right along with common decency, democratic ideals, and morality.

F*** him!

I dunno, but with retards like Pat Robertson calling for Oklahoma styled terrorist attacks against federal facilities and assassinations at home, while praising guys like Timmy McVeigh, it seems like Good Christian (tm) terrorists are as likely to be the ones to pull such a stunt as anyone else.

Besides, any moron in a gorilla costume can be in Congress. All he has to do is win a popularity contest against similar morons.
