Numbers WILL be down this time - not only will the last of the less-committed people fall away, but many involved are doing their college exams and suchlike. It should be no reflection on the worthiness of the effort of course (and very small groups have in any case been doing flashmob style protests in between the main ones for some time now), but expect Scientology to make mileage from it if they have the opportunity.

I saw a $cientology spokesman on CNN the other morning to discuss this and his appearance turned into little more than him telling people to read dianetics or visit a centre and get an e-meter reading.

Hopefully the protests will get some decent coverage.
