It's is pretty outrageous article title for an article and I also have to wonder about D'Souza's comments about Stein and Dawkins towards the end. Does he favour ID?

It's quite disgraceful. D'Souza was engaging in Public Debates!

He seems to be having a dig at Dawkins for turning down a debate. The concentration camps can't be that far away.
Meanwhile, CW, how do you feel about the Ben Burch proposal to have non-atheists given psychiatric treatment?

D'Souza has a book to plug, and this is how he plugs it. I assume the people he debated were in it for the publicity as well, and probably have their own opinion about who bashed whom. The headline is calculated to attract attention, but it seems more like a false promise than anything else, once one reads the blog below the headline. Empty showmanship, not worth taking offense.

So you wouldn't be bothered if Christopher Hitchens declared it christian bashing week?
Meanwhile, CW, how do you feel about the Ben Burch proposal to have non-atheists given psychiatric treatment?
Ridiculous. Where did he say that?

Seems to me to be just a deliberately misleading headline, presented here with the same deliberately misleading headline.
D'Souza goes to three public debates in a row≠D'Souza suggests we should have an 'atheist bashing week'

Ahem:
We've all heard of Black History Month, but have you heard about Atheist Bashing Week? It was Atheist Bashing Week for me as I did three debates over the past seven days with a new crop of leading atheists.
D'Souza claims it was Atheist Bashing Week. If Dawkins had debated a few people and claimed it was Theist Bashing Week, would there have been a moral outrage?
Survey says. . .YES!

The title "Atheist Bashing Week" implies someone is trying to arrange for people to bash atheists in a given week of the year. This is not the case at all, and as such the header is misleading. It's that simple.
D'Souza claims it was Atheist Bashing Week. D'Souza is the first to use that misleading ploy, yes. Followed by the OP here.
