Hi
I just thought that someone should talk to the BBC about... I dunno... FALSE ADVERTISING, or SOMETHING!
Article on the BBC feed:
Great tits cope well with warming (http://news.bbc.co.uk/2/hi/science/nature/7390109.stm)
:D Don't bother. It's about birds. :D

I know! Darn. I was hoping for breast related news too.
I also noticed it was the most e-mailed article on the site. Hehe.

Seeing the title of this post, I knew what it referred to. Good one BBC!

Well, the article doesn't tell us that (research project, anyone?). It does mention that it's only British tits that respond in this positive way – Dutch tits don't cope nearly so well, which is a bit sad.
Returning to the BBC headline writers, I like the way they're always accusing the police of torturing suspects by fire, as in:
Two held over fire in city centre (http://news.bbc.co.uk/1/hi/scotland/highlands_and_islands/7032403.stm)
Third teenager is held over blaze (http://news.bbc.co.uk/1/hi/england/suffolk/4286286.stm)
Police release six held over fire (http://news.bbc.co.uk/1/hi/england/west_yorkshire/3780845.stm)
Boys questioned over fire (http://news.bbc.co.uk/1/hi/england/norfolk/3041750.stm)
