So I got an email from the head of the Politics Department of the Aberdeen University saying that Bill Clinton would be lecturing and that us students could get the tickets at the reduced rate of £60.

Its on my birthday so the cost isn't really an issue, I'll just get some relatives to put together for it, but I thought I'd ask - if it worth going to see?

I would like to think that answers could be without political bias but they won't. I'm basically asking is he a good speaker?

nevermind, I'm sorry, it would be rude to hijack your serious question with a dumb joke.

Sixty pounds? No speaker is worth sixty pounds. Even on a birthday.

My 2 pennies. 3000 more to go.... :flamed::duck:

He was once the most powerful man in the world. Even if it was Richard Nixon, I'd say sixty+ is worth it.

As for a good speaker, a family member of mine went to see him in the Albert Hall and confirmed he was indeed a terrific speaker.

Plus, you need to fund the new dent his wife has put into their finances!

I find Clinton entertaining but find app $120 not really an amount I would pay to see him. Unless he's replicating the Incident of the Stain of White for a Holmes convention.

You don't think his $100,000 speaker's fees come out of thin air, do ya?

I wouldn't pay that much to see him, however, I am not really a big fan of the two-party system either.
