He works alot yes. Don't miss him in Mystic River. This is one of his great performances and Sean Penn will get another Oscar nomination for this one and I wouldn't be suprised if Eastwood gets an Oscar for Director.

I saw Mystic River Friday and it was great. Great acting from everyone and understated direction from Eastwood. I see many Oscar nominations in the future. And it was exactly like the book.

Curiously, the only movie in which Jones and Bacon appear together is "JFK." Coincidence????

The highest Bacon number I could come up with was 7. It was for an Iranian actor listed low on the credits (IMBD) for the Iranian movie The White Balloon.

I think I've gotten one infitity number, but I find the higher bacon numbers to be more impressive. And I was wrong... the highest number I could come up with was 6.

Tommy Lee Jones' character in Under Seige was rather un-Tommy-Lee-Jones-ish. His "Two-Face" character in Batman Forever didn't get enough play; but then again, Batman Forever sucked in just about every other conceivable way.

However, you are right - in the rest of Jones' movies he seems to have a single type of character, rather like Nicholas Cage.
