There are many things in it which cry out that it is faked:

1. The plane appears to clearly when we first see it.
2. The plane takes too long between the first time it goes out of frame and the time it goes over the building.
3. The u-turn it makes seems t be impossible for a plane that size.

Never mind, I see now that it is:

A humorous commercial from (apparently) the Netherlands:

Jeeze, if it were you on that beach, at the first sign of the plane, tell me that wouldn't freak you the hell out.

Believe that video and you might believe my Balducci routine clears 9 inches.I know. A guy sent it to me, with the subject line "About the scariest thing I ever saw!!"

I know. A guy sent it to me, with the subject line "About the scariest thing I ever saw!!"

That line reminds me of a Looney Toons episode where Sylvester the cat is teaching his son the way of the world. His son thinks his dad is pursuing a little mouse, but the truth is he is pursuing an escaped baby kangaroo that kicks his ass.

"But thsun, itt'sss the biggest mouse I ever saw!"

"Oh father, shame."

So, what's a newlywed guy doing awake at 3:00 in the morning

Seems like a more fantastic version of the landings at St.Maarten

Pffft. Lancester, you shame me:rolleyes:.

Can you really not see that the "commercial" version is a government cover-up?! That's Flight 93's actual crash right there and the GOP quickly made an extended version using OMGWTF1337 haxxor software to make it look like a commercial.

Who's X-Travels owned by? You guessed it - someone I can vaguely connect to the GOP or some GOP/WTC/WTF interest if you give me a month or two!

Well, you COULD be on a beach in St. Maarten and get freaked the hell out. (Not fake- ask any pilot who's made this approach.) Hmmmm, might even be the same beach where they made that commercial.

That's what I immediately thought of as well.

I have actually been on that beach! I went on a Caribbean trip with a friend who is an aviation nut and he insisted that we spend an afternoon there.

There's a bar there (not visible in either the video or photo because it is "behind" the photographers' positions) that has a chalkboard at the entrance. At most bars that would list the daily specials. At this bar it lists the flight arrivals!

If I wasn't beyond swamped with prep for TAM, I'd post a couple photos from my visit. The warning signs on the road are hilarious. Maybe next week when TAM is over.

Yep, the first part is quite believeable at St. Maarten even though the video is actually fake.

The building flyby is reminiscent of the old Hong Kong airport approach.

Just missed the fence and that car. Look at the people right at the fence ducking down. The jet blast can be seen in the water as well.

There's no record of that "incident".
It's Photoshop at its finest!
