Today, 62 per cent of people diagnosed with cancer survive their disease compared with a survival rate of one in three in the 1960s.

It was bound to happen. Development in evidence based medicine would sooner or later take the lead from the unchangeable woo therapies practiced for hundreds of years.

Oh, the admission that we didn't live as long and didn't label illness correctly kinda alludes to my sarcasm :p The woo woos would never entertain those variables, not in a gazillion years.

Not so sure about that. By checkking the pulse and tongue acupunturists are able to (they claim) detect mucous in the brain :cool:. Since no cell in the brain is capable of producing mucous something else must. And that can only be an adenocarcinoma (a type of cancer). So if there were mucous in the brain when acupuncture was invented there certainly was cancer.:yikes:
