Sylvia Browne will be the guest on Coast-to-Coast AM (http://www.coasttocoastam.com) on Wednesday, October 22. This is your chance, folks. Callers won't be screened by Larry King's goons, so you can call in and let her know what you think about dodging her promise for so many months.

Incidentally, I find it... interesting that her website has a ".org" extension. Isn't that supposed to be for non-profits? Or have they extended it to "non-prophets"?

:D :D :D

Do you think the new host will let skeptics have their say? He doesn't seem as open to debate as Art Bell was.

George Noory is very polite to his guests, and will probably let her drone on and on. However, they don't screen calls very rigorously, so it should be relatively easy to get on, though getting through in the first place can be very difficult. I got through once, because I happened to call just as they opened the lines. For my trouble, I got scheduled in a debate with Nancy Lieder. That wound up ending pretty well though!

The rules for .org and .net usage where relaxed many years ago. It is common for people to grab .com, .net, and .org at the same time these days.

BTW, I enjoyed the book Phil. :)

IMHO, these shows are to be avoided, not promoted. But are there enough rationalists out there to make a ratings impact in such a tune out? I fear not. I, for one, will not be tuning in to any show featuring these frauds.

Did anyone listen to the show, or (gasp) manage to get a call through to Sylvia? If so, what happened?

I wish someone had bumped this thread the night of the show. I completely forgot about it. :(
