So turnout is 35% which is not bad. Other than Davis the greens are pretty much the only ones expected to get a non trivial turnout.
Unfortunetly I can see the National Front haveing picked up some support. University holidays so I wouldn't expect the more ah lighthearted candidates to pick up that many votes.

Davis won very cleanly Greens and english democracts got a respectable total of a bit over 1700 each and the national front racked up 200 fewer votes than the BNP did at the last election.

Yep, all a bit anti-climatic. But at least we had a full national debate about the 42 days detention thing, which is the main thing. (I think I must have been on holiday when that was going on though, since I didn't see any of it).

phew. more people had enough sense to vote for OMRLP and Miss Great Britain than for David Icke.
