tinfoil duh! how do you think i keep the gubmint from getting to me?

seriously, i think it boils down to thinking one is so smart for figuring this out that it won't affect them. they know the system so can defeat it or something along those lines.

What makes you think that? ;)

Because they're all freaking superheros.

Seriously. Lots of their organizations are "... for Truth," and we even have an example (http://stj911.org/) of "... for Truth and Justice." It won't be long before we have ... for Truth, Justice, and the American Way!

True patriots are, of course, immune to all known forms of mind control. The aluminum coture is just for style.

It's because their brains are so much bigger than everyone else's, as well as the fact that they're so densely packed with knowledge and truth. Also, their brains work at such a high frequency that the government's feeble attempts to control them or understand how their brain functions at such a superior level are doomed to fail.

I think it's because according to all those 60's and 70's mind-manipulation spy movies, the most state-of-the-art methods for controlling someone's mind involves making them sit in a chair while looking at blinking lights and listening to funny noises. Since this is singularly ineffective (to the point that many of us do it for routine recreation), even truthers are unaffected by it.

Respectfully,
Myriad

On a related note, what do you think? (http://raven1.net/perpform.htm) Trollable, or would that be mean even for me?

Do it.

In fact, were we military I would make that an order.

Sir, yes sir! Shall I imply a sinister purpose to the arrangement of the target's sock drawer, sir?

Unfortunately we're still trying to fine tune our equipment, the rest of the world is fine, but no-one here at BonceSat has a bloody clue how a CT/troothers mind works, and as such all our tolerances are out of wack.

PS Aluminum doesn't work, only Aluminium does, and you've got to get rid, all Gold, Copper and Silver, even if it is in your electronic gear, we tried to trick them with colloidal silver and atomised gold treatments but "they" seem to be catching on to that.

They leave out a few people on purpose so that, when that minority starts sounding the truth, the rest of us think it's crazy and don't give it another thought.

Ridicule: the perfect way to keep your government plot secret.
