Quick backstory... someone on a social news site I use posts some typical nonsense about Larry Silverstein and 9/11 from a site called "realjewnews". It's exactly what you think it is. A commenter in the social thread comes along with a claim that Silverstein got $15bn in terrorist insurance on the WTC complex. When questioned on this by me, this is the video (of course it's a youtube video) to back it up.

This may be the single saddest "effort" by the truthists I've seen yet. Not only is it the usual BS that's been beaten like the proverbial dead horse (Marvin Bush & Wirt Walker for Securacom, the insurance payouts, asbestos, pull it, demolition to destroy files and FEMA was there beforehand, before advancing to PNAC/nWo/Bilderberg) a hundred times, not only is it just a bunch of claims made without a shred of supporting evidence, not only is it even more wrong than the usual twoofer vid, not only have comments been disabled because the poster doesn't have time to "moderate" (i.e. remove any comment that isn't 9/11 was so an inside jobby job!!!!11!!!11!) and just wants you to watch the usual suspects among the pseudodocumentaries to "understand"... but... the voice! Dude couldn't even be arsed to put a human voice to the video. Or edit in an actual video clip, for that matter; even the "pull it" quote is re-read in the computer voice. Because who wants to hear what Larry actually said, right? You can trust these guys not to alter the quote, right? Right?

I'm just... my mind is blown. This is the movement that supposedly growing by the minute and has the support of 84% of the people, right?

I would do a robot voice if I made a video, mainly because my voice sounds like I have your family tied up in my basement.

In regard to the actual question, are they trying... I think they are unable to try anymore, fundamentally. There is nothing there. Look at the sudden flurry of baiting over the Pentagon, here; Turbofan, et al., are desperate to get attention. They should be ignored.

I agree. At this point we are the fuel these clowns live on. If we are serious about getting rid of the nonsense, we need to stop engaging (dare I say baiting?) them.

Go to amazon.com and read the comments section for new books: FIREFIGHT and
TOUCHING HISTORY. Can find the usual insane rants about no plane hit Pentagon,
there was no debris or bodies, etc thats with Pilots for 911 told them....

That is right; and I am not doing very good closing in on that goal.

Based on an experience of truthers passing through, they do seem like they are not trying. One reason to rationalize my failure, is my quest to learn,"Why are they easily fooled".

I see, after baiting them to fix a massive math/physics error posted at a p4t web site, they may be deficient in using parameters, applying math and physics, and correcting the massive error. They let it slide.

We have a few threads discussing the mindset of those who seem too challenged to think for themselves, and I make every effort to avoid the pitfalls they seem to hit continuously. Most JREF posters have a better grip at understanding the typical truther. I may be able to ignore them as I learn more of the reason they are handicapped and fall for lies and false information, blindly following ideas with out reason.

They do not need to improve, or change, or advance, or learn from their mistakes.

For every brand of snake oil, no matter how ridiculous, no matter how vile, there WILL ALWAYS be naive, unknowing victims who buy it.

Their lies no longer work on us, as we have debunked most of their crap, but the vast, vast majority of the world is still oblivious to the REAL TRUTH on the truther canards...they are fresh meat for da twoof.
