From Calgary 9/11 Truth, we completely support this concert and whatever it is called (Truthstock or whatever) we will be behind you all the way! Thank you gentlemen.

Truthstock's been done already (http://screwloosechange.blogspot.com/2008/04/at-least-they-are-glass-half-full-types.html); remember that was the event a few months ago where Dylan proudly announced that the venue was "half-packed".

More from DU:

"Willie Nelson, speaking on the Alex Jones show, has just announced that he would be a driving factor in a new Farm Aid-type event that will focus on supporting Dennis Kucinich's efforts to impeach george bush. It will also be an anti-war event. This plan is literally coming together as I type. Willie has just committed to it.

Mr. Nelson also believes that the event could be used as a platform for those who do not believe the government's official story of 9/11 to speak out and let their feelings be known."
http://www.democraticunderground.com/discuss/duboard.php?az=view_all&address=389x3663078

"Willie Nelson has agreed to explore, back, and promote a possible new Farm Aid style event and suggested the proceeds from such an event could go to help the families of victims of the September 11, 2001, attacks on the World Trade Center, the Pentagon, and Flight 93, as well as the first responders who have fallen ill from breathing the air at Ground Zero and who are getting insufficient assistance from the government."

Yeah, but this is "TruthStock- Final Cut", and there is a whole new line up. This years line-up includes:

Willie Nelson, Paula Nelson, Amy Allen, The FloBots, that one Irish "truther" band and The Jackman Brothers beat boxing till the break of dawn (or until their thighs chaffe from walking around stage). There won't be a bag of Doritos left in Texas with this much weed in one place.

"new Farm Aid-type event" good idea!-we can plow the truthers into the ground and finally have something good growing out of the truth movement:Corn, Barley, beans, Peanuts, millet and soyabeans to make bird food.
It would be intresting to see if parrots fed "truther bird mix" would start chanting "9/11 was an inside job".

Mr. Nelson was coming to my small town to take part in one of the South's largest music festivals. He was going to be the Sunday night grand finale, yet surprisingly, he dropped out right when tickets went on sale. (Probably a good thing, because I was planning multiple methods of embarrassing myself while he was in town...one of them being holding a sign outside of the entrance that said: "Willie Nelson's Views on 9/11 are OFFENSIVE")

I can see that he is spending his time wisely now.

Twoofapolooza is born:

"Finally, in response to a caller from Arizona, who mentioned Willie’s Live Aid and Farm Aid concerts, Nelson indicated he would be interested in volunteering to participate in a 9/11 truth, anti-war, and impeachment concert event. Such an event would "give the people a venue" and a "chance to stand up" against the government. After the interview, Alex discussed the issue off-air with Willie and it was decided the details for such an event would be worked out in the next few days and the event would take place in either New York or Austin, Texas."

If this thing actually happens, then the USA will get my mad respect. Just imagine: A gathering of anti-government morons all getting together to flog whatever misguided anti-government nonsense their paranoid little hearts desire, topped off by a performance by a high profile artist(s). All openly planned, advertised and promoted. And what will the evil, fascist, mass-murdering federal government do? Absolutely nothing. Try this in a real fascist state, Alex.

America really is the home of the free. These jackasses are the living proof.

Seriously man... It took the GOP years to try to impeach Clinton over a real crime of perjury... and Kucinich has about 10 other moonbats on his side out of 535... with about 3 months to the next election, in which GWB is NOT running. (unlike what some Obama supporters think, or at least allude to)

Great googly moogly, has it finally come to this with you guys? Just spouting made up stuff, irrespective of how obviously fake and bogus it is? If so, why stop at claiming there's only 12 debunkers in the whole world -- hell, claim there are none! Or claim that George W. Bush has personally confessed 9/11 was an inside job! Or that 100% of all the people on the planet are card-carrying Truthers! Or that Dylan Avery has been elected president and declared September 11 to be National Tweeter Day! I mean, if you're just making stuff up, have yourself a real party!!

As for Willie Nelson and Trutheraid, I doubt it will ever happen. Even if years of incessent dope smoking has driven all common sense from whatever's left of his mind, somewhere I suspect he's got a business handler with enough brains to recognize that getting in bed with the likes of Alex and Dylan is pretty much career suicide. That's why sooner or later Truther-sympathetic celebs either pull out and distance themselves (a la Chuck Sheen) or go down in flames (Rosie).

Tokyo is number one among
the richest cities in the world
A report by PricewaterhouseCoopers

11 March 2007: Greater Tokyo stands unrivalled in the world. For many years to come, the Japanese capital together with its surrounding urban areas will remain the richest and largest city in the world. Research published by PricewaterhouseCooper (PWC) in March 2007 places the Japanese capital at the top of the world’s richest cities between 2005 and 2020. In its own research on the world’s largest cities between 2006 and 2020, City Mayors also ranks Tokyo number one in the world.

I remember reading that same thing in 2003. It's funny how much more pathetic that statement has become.

Face it, your movement was defeated by logic and overwhelming opposition in its September 2006 prime.

The last time I heard of the 9/11 truth movement outside of the internet (eg. TV, family, friends, protests, etc.) was months ago. Your existence is confined to a few online forums and the occasional article on Digg that is always buried for being inaccurate.

It's an interesting definition and perspective. Now if I were to evaluate numbers about what I would consider a significant amount toward a growing movement, it would be in the 20-25 million range.
A twoofer would, more than likely, consider 200-300 an unstoppable movement.

Tokyo is the richest city in the world, which means the price of living is very expensive.
Does this mean rich areas are more susceptible toward becoming twoofers?

Apparently you havent left the reservation lately, Tonto.
A few million Japanese are starting to ask questions, but no they dont have any 911 tshirts so maybe they dont apply.

It's not polite to fib.

The Truth cannot be stopped.
Strap your helmets and buckle down for a long ride.
Theres like 12 debunkers in the world, sucks to be you.

IdiotsTruthers have been saying "The Truth cannot be stopped; The sheep are waking up; The Truth is going to go supernova;" since 2004 (at least!). When will The Truth actually not be stopped? When will the sheep actually start waking up? When will The Truth actually go supernova? Lest you give the appearance that it is all merely Alex Jones inspired hyperbole.

TruthStock 2008 went extremely well, in my eyes. We managed to half-pack a 800-seat auditorium at San Diego State University.

If that's the new standard of grass-root events, then me and my two drunk neighbors are smack-dab-in-the-middle of our very own "Beerstock".

I clicked on the thread from the OP. I noticed there was an advertisement for AE4911 Truth. In the advertisement, my fake name is still listed as a member. (Cameron Porter PHD)

Just thought I would share that.

I guess that means the "real number" of "professionals" is 412 then.
They are really making progress toward 1000!

As long as we are on the subject of Willie Nelson and twoofers...a musical tribute:

They can't afford to start vetting their list now, at this critical juncture... otherwise, they won't be able to meet their goal and build the 1000 architects and engineers juggernaut that will force everyone to accept teh twoof.

And's it'a been how long since Nelson has had a song on the charts?
Most celeb twoofers are has beens;the few exceptions soon drop out:Charlie Sheen for instance (although I bet he did so on advice from his PR people who told him being a truther would not help him in the PR battle over his messy divorce).
About the only Twoofer celeb who has any real pull is Rosie O Donnell, and she is sinking fast, partially because of her support for The Truth Movement.

with apologies to Ed and Patsy Bruce (and to Willie and Waylon, and whoever else sang this song)

Twoofers ain't easy to love and their minds are all closed,
They'd rather give you a theory that someone supposed.
Cheetos and Pepsi cans on the keyboard,
And each night begins a new day
If you don't understand him, and he don't die young
He'll probably just fade away

Chorus:
Mamas, don't let your babies grow up to be Twoofers.
Don't let 'em pick noses or watch the Youtube,
Send him to Job Corps because he's a boob.
Mamas, don't let your babies grow up to be Twoofers,
'Cause he'll always stay home in the basement alone
Becoming an internet rube.

Twoofers like trolling on forums and creating dumb threads,
Don't like the pictures of kitties we post back instead.
Them that don't know him won't like him and them that do
Sometimes won't know how to take him
Always wrong, he's just different but his pride won't let him
Do things to make us all think he's not dim.

Chorus:
Mamas, don't let your babies grow up to be Twoofers.
Don't let 'em pick noses or watch the Youtube,
Send him to Job Corps because he's a boob.

Quoted in full because, yes, it is that good.

If we had a star rating system in place, it would have garnered at least 4 of 5 stars from me, but on the laughing dog scale that we actually do have in place, it garners 5 of 5. :)

VERY nicely done, indeed.

I haven't read all three pages of responses so sorry if this has been mentioned, but I remember a while back when a group of truthers in Toronto tried to crash an anti-war protest and the leader of the anti-war protest telling them to leave. Now this. It seems that truthers are trying to get people to sympathize with them by associating themselves with the anti-war movement (even though the anti-war movement wants nothing to do with them). Maybe they know that 9/11 truth is just too crazy by itself.

PS, something I just noticed in that link:

Willie Nelson is an American icon and is the perfect celebrity to get the word out to the people about 9/11.

Yeah, dude, Willie Nelson is the perfect person to get the word out about 9/11. LOL! Alex Jones might as well enlist the help of Tommy Chong to help get the word out about 9/11! Oh... oh my God. Wait...

http://www.prisonplanet.com/articles/may2008/100508Chong.htm

For once, I absolutely agree with Alex Jones! Nothing says "9/11 Truth Movement" better than Willie Nelson and Tommy Chong!

Must resist urge to make Tommy Chong being a Truther/Drug Use jokes.
His partner Cheech has managed to find quite a sucessful new career as a character actor. You don't see him preaching truther woo. Just more proof that almost all of the celebs attracted to the Truth movement are basically has beens.
